Lmao! The funny thing is it’s actually possible there and I witnessed you almost do it 😂😂😂😂 if we fished every little hole there you know you may have landed 120 possibly 😭😂. Tell you one thing, got them chartreuse mop flies ready to go for next time hahaha that was nuts how automatic they took when they saw that giant thing! 😭😂

@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
Right!!! Most native brook trout streams are actually this small, not sure why that is but think it’s due to how they grow and how clean the water has to be in order to hold native brook trout! They are so colorful though and make it up for their actual size!

Wazzup Scott!!! Thanks for watching buddy! That was for sure one crazy day up there in the mountains! Couldn’t believe the water clarity on that stream, as well as all the waterfalls! Just endless plunge pools, as well as colored up brookies! The colors on those brookies were out of this world, especially the two bigger males I landed. Love these little guys, but think it’s time to Chuck some meat for some monster browns hahaha! I get out college December 3rd, we’ll have to make some plans and get out again! It’s been too long, tight lines, and look forward to your next one as well! 👊🎣🐟💦

@@Osnyfishingadventures Whaaa! 😢. Might be a while, computer issues and may need a new video editing program 😫. So right now, as far as videos goes, I’m on a break until I figure things out, but I’ll still be fishing.
@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
Darn!!! Yeah I have issues with my editor once in awhile as well, I use a program called shotcut, love it but is a little glitchy at times and every once in awhile it stops working and usually have to spend an entire day trying to fix it. 😫 Only use shotcut since it’s free, but for it being a free software it does a really good job! Maybe you could look into it, takes a little while to get used to that program, but once your used to it it’s very easy to use!

Hey buddy!!! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the action! Those little brookies are so much fun, such aggressive little fish and the colors during the spawn are out of this world! Do they have wild brookies in NZ or are there only rainbows and browns? I’ll have to checkout your latest video once my collegework dies down. I’ve been so busy as of lately, just want to get out and fish again already hahaha it’s been like 2 weeks, that’s a record for me!😂😭 Hopefully one day can get over to NZ and smash some 5 plus pound monsters!!!! Your living the dream out there buddy! Keep up the great work and absolutely love the videos! 👏🎣🐟💦 hoping soon can get out on some bigger water here in the states and chase after some big boys! They are around, just gotta commit to the streamer game so you can work around the smaller fish hahaha! Tight lines buddy and thank you so much for watching as always!!! @@Osnyfishingadventures that's all good buddy, you will be busy for sure with your college work. I'll be uploading another next weekend, epic footage at a gorge some ripping fish was caught in a tough stream but beautiful water. Hey Jarrett!!! That stream is the most loaded brookie stream I’ve ever come by! 😂 I’ve really never seen anything like it, that was such a crazy experience, lol at first when I first saw the stream, I was thinking to myself theirs no way this stream is as loaded as my buddy told me 😂😂😂. I gotta tell ya that’s one impressive little stream! Those brookies were so colored up too, and the amount of bigger brookies I actually saw as well was really amazing! Was so cool and hope I can get back there sometime in the future! Thanks for watching buddy as always, and hopefully can make it up your way sometime soon!🎣🐟💦

Be Careful!!!! I'm not sure if spawning season is over yet. Watch out for the Redds!!!
@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
I was definitely on the lookout, was really surprised I didn’t see one red on that stream considering how colored up those brookies were! Was really hoping to see a red or at least some spawning activity so I could get some really cool footage and explain how to spot them! Made sure to stick to the riffs and avoid tailouts.

You guys have such beautiful rivers out there. Do you tend to run into a lot of people out there? I would love to try east coast river fishing one of these days.
@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy! It really depends on where you go, the thing about the east coast is in comparison to out west, a lot of the streams run right next to roads and are much easier to access in comparison to places like montana where you may have to hike quite a ways to trout fish. There are places like that in the east but they are very hard to come by and require a lot of research to locate. The popular and well known streams though like spring creek, and the little J near me are great fisheries even know they do see a lot of pressure throughout the year. It’s too bad I live about 2 hours from upstate PA, but the fishing is amazing up there and can’t beat the scenery!!! Thanks for watching buddy and tight lines as always! 👊🎣💦.

@@Osnyfishingadventures do you have much of a salmon fishery out there? I’ve mainly seen Brook trout and palomino trout from east coast fly videos.
@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
@@KutthroatOutdoors we’ve actually got a lot of wild brown trout as well as brookies. In my area of PA, don’t have a lot of native brookies, have to go either up north about 2 hours or travel over to Virginia to find them since they need perfect living conditions in order to survive in the wild. There are a good amount of polominos in the stocked trout fisheries. The yellow breeches they stock some absolute monster polominos!😂 I’m more into chasing after the wild trout so don’t go to the breeches too often, but it’s is a great stocked trout fishery and they stock some absolute monster fish there!
@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
Forgot to answer about the salmon lol, yeah we do have some salmon on the east coast, up in the Great Lakes area theirs some really nice king salmon and steelhead! They get huge up there, but the thing is when they run the tribs it’s like shoulder to shoulder fishing! 😭😫 Not my type of fishing hahaha I like to be completely alone, but them steelhead and King’s do fight like crazy and if you do go up there I’d highly recommend to stock fo the mile creeks. Most people up there fish the main creek which is called elk
@KutthroatOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
@@Osnyfishingadventures we all went to college in Lake Superior! Caught some nice steelhead and pinks. Ya.. spring can be shoulder to shoulder. Hard not to get mad when you tangle up.

Gorgeous stream! I haven't been down to VA to fish yet. Did you try any dries, or pink nymphs? I feel like those are usually producers for small brookie streams. Mini streamers as well can be fun :) Thanks for sharing a good trip!
@Osnyfishingadventures4 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike! Awesome drone footage on that last video btw! That was wicked, we’ve gotta plan another collab sometime soon, get out of college December 5th and I’ll be completely free for a good 2 weeks until I go back into work. Those brookies were so much fun! I didn’t think about using dries since I didn’t think they’d eat off the top this time of year, but thinking about it now with the amount of fish in that stream using a dry may have worked hahaha! Yeah I tried using a mini bugger I had but they wanted nothing to do with it, but wow was I surprised how much they wanted that chartreuse mop in that crystal clear water! 😂😂😂 That was the weirdest thing ever hahaha! That mop really has been killing it for me, I did try some red darts as well as a pink prince nymph and to my surprise they wanted nothing to do with em! Thought for sure they’d be all over any type of nymph that was bright, but they didn’t wanna touch em! 😂 Either way can’t complain with the results as well as the amazing scenery! Thanks for watching Mike and tight lines as always buddy!!! 💯🎣💦

Cool video but you shouldn't be fishing for our native brook trout in November as they are spawning. It is not illegal but is certainly frowned upon.
