This river belongs to one of my favorite in Czechia, however, there are many rafts and kayaks when weather gets warmer. So, the best time for fishing is early morning or late evening.

In summer these canoers are a real pain in the ass. Best time to fish Otava river is April-May and after the canoe season October-November.
