I love this video.. thank you so much for it, I have only been fly fishing for 7 months and I haven't had much luck catching any fish except for pan fish on flies since I have started. I have always loved fishing for trout but I have not been very successful at it on the fly rod but after watching this video, words are not needed. At 54 seconds into the video, that is exactly how I feel when fly fishing for trout, but I realized that is also part of the appeal! Thank God for fishing!

Carp are among the world's most respected fish. They were introduced to American waters and were among a handful of species that could survive the massive pollution, so naturally people associate them as a "dirty" fish. Lemme tell yah, they are as difficult as any to land on a fly and they fight like hell! Awesome video!

This was a suprisingly good video. I didn't expect such high quality when I saw it was a clip about flyfishing for carp... I never saw someone actually doing that before and I'm really impressed with how challenging you've made it look. Some of your shots were incredible and I think the take and set at 6:11 is by far one of the best I've seen in any dry fly videos. The background music was perfect and very serene... it set the mood just right for that kind of fishing.

Where is that, Your video reminded me of carp and barbel fly fishing in Europe, lakes and rivers, I understand the challenge and fun of fishing these fish, I went dry and with big buggy nymphs, did it for 15 years over there, I am in California now and don't know where to go for this type of fishing, I used a 6wt rod 9ft and one thing I will never forget in those 15 yrs. is the sound of my reel when hooking up, catch n release is really the best way to insure future outtings, loved your video,

A terrific production - well done, well done indeed. Strangely, I and most of my cohort do not see any attraction in flyfishing for carp. There is no doubt, though, they are great sport. Carp are a 'declared' pest here in Australia and if you were caught putting one back into the water, you would be liable for a pretty heavy fine. Again, well done and cheers from Oz 🇦🇺
