FLY FROM MANILA TO LOS ANGELES during PANDEMIC via PHILIPPINE AIRLINES BUSINESS CLASS

I had the chance to fly business class with Philippine Airlines on my flight from Manila to Los Angeles....and that was on the 4th of July.
Flying to the US, in this time of pandemic, is very different now. You need to comply a lot of documents to show both to the Philippine and US immigrations.

Hello. Thanks for posting! I intend to travel with my 16 year-old daughter as tourists next month. It is long overdue. This would be our 2nd time going to the US. Just wanted to ask these questions. 1) Are minors allowed to travel these days? 2) What sort of questions did Philippine and US immigration ask you? 3) How long are you staying in the US as a tourist? Hi 1. Minors are allowed. I saw a minor on the same plane with me ☺️ 2. Ph immigration just asked me for my negative result and travel insurance. US immigration asked me a lot actually. Maybe because I am a solo traveler. Questions like: how long Im staying, who im staying with, my business in Ph and etc... basic questions. 3. Im staying here for a month

What was the protocol when you arrived? (I am assuming they change every now and then depending on the situation. Delta is now the dominant strain in WA, I read.) Did you have to quarantine upon arrival? I am already fully vaccinated here in the Philippines. Appreciated any info. TIA! ❤️

I like the part where you were honest about the food in your PAL flight. PAL needs to "up" their game. Other full-service carriers are top-notch when it comes to meals. I dunno why PAL sometimes fail to "deliver". Kudos!

Hi Carla. Very smooth ang check in procedure. I was told na 135 pax lang daw kami sa plane. So di crowded. Meron lang declaration na form na ifill in doon. Attestation pala nakalimutan kong imention sa video. Need maprint out din. meron din ibibigay ganyan sa airport. business class check in was very fast as usual. ☺️👍🏻

Sadly they (PAL) are using the old aircraft. There are newer planes which is the airbus 350, that has the new seat configurations, the business class has 1-2-1, premium economy 2-4-2, and the economy 3-3-3. I personally think the 4-star skytrax rating is based on this one, not the old planes, hopefully u fly the new plane which is way better. Safe travels 😁

US Immig asked me the usual questions for tourists e.g. How long am I staying here? Who I'm staying with? etc... No questions asked for vaccines. If one is unvaccinated they will give it for free. Makapili pa Pfizer, Moderna & J&J.

Hi depende yan talaga sa airline and date of actual buying of the ticket. Usually pag economy sa PAL you can buy 40-50k or lesser na roundtrip ticket if you are able to buy at least a month before your flight.

Philippine economy is not 100% open. Some cities, like mine in Tagum city, are still in community quarantine since covid cases are still surging. Yes, tourism is still down. Fortunately, the whole country is not as empty as NAIA T1 😉🙏🏻🇵🇭

I had fly before with Qatar airways, Emirates , Lufthansa, Singapore and their business class are amazing and worth the extra dollars . Philippines airlines business class looks more a premium economy compared other Airlines.

I agree. I have flown business class with SQ, EY, & TG. PR is nothing compared to them. Although PR has an A350 aircraft with business class seats that can compete w/ them...but still has limitations. 🤪
