I was 8 when I watched the 1st moon landing 'live'. At the time the excitement was unlike anything imaginable, unless you experienced it. As a boy, it made me feel I was part of a great miracle. Every other society seemed inadequate by comparison. As I got older I would hear the USSR try to say they were superior, which I would simply scoff at with utter disregard. Imagine my profound disappointment when I realized it was all faked. This film offers a tacit acknowledgement of the scam. Don't get me wrong, I understand why they did it, desperate times, and all that. But it was in fact a lie. I too was heart broken when I figured it out. I was a teenager when I did, and so I have lived with ridicule since then. But I was right, it was staged, it was propaganda, it was a con, a scam etc.
