Holy moly, Jake! There was enough momentum in that rendition to actually make it to the moon. I loved it. Nice bluesy touches.

So glad I stumbled onto your videos and thanks very very much for posting. It's all very inspirational. I play solo jazz guitar but haven't listened to anyone lately. I sort of stopped at Joe Pass and Ted Greene. You have a smooth style but for me better from a listening standpoint which is what I really like about it. Since this is only the first few moments of discovery I feel like I'm embarking on a new journey into refining my own playing. Looking forward to studying your approach to music. Best wishes and thanks again.

What a wonderful, cheerful song and I loved the arrangement. Can’t wait to get the video lesson. Your lessons shorten the learning curve by years in terms of the understanding I receive from them. Thanks for not only the great music but for being an incredible teacher as well.

Beautiful playing and arrangement, as always. Really pleased to find the intro -- both for the information and to get your perspective. I hope you will continue with this format -- respectful of the fact, though, that it makes extra work for you.

I heard that scale called Harmonic minor Be Bop by Joseph Alexander in his book on Minor 251. I think of it as A minor Pentatonic Blues shape with Eb as the blue note b5, then the e natural minor shape completing the A dorian looking at E natural minor E flat would be the natural 7 of harmonic minor yet you have the b7 too so yeah its a be bop scale or the simple answer, "It's just the blues"
