I love how some people that play ANY of the Mii Fighters get so creative that they make a loadout depending on what they’re looking for. As somebody that also does this, you’re getting a like and a sub for this.

Thank you very much! I find it a lot of fun to play around with different movesets to get clips with rare synergies. It’s really cool that Smash has 3 characters that you can mix and match moves and change styles ^,^

@@cartib6677 That's what I like about the Mii Fighters. Even without the meme costumes and cursed combinations, they can really scare some pro players! The fourth installments of the game tried doing it with the rest of the base roster, but most of them were either lackluster or too hard to get. There were some characters like Kirby, Palutena and Mega Man who had perfect custom moves, but people just didn't like them enough to have them make a return in the fifth installment. I hope a more polished version of the custom returns in a future installment of the game. Oh, and also a fourth Mii Fighter variant. I'm thinking either Sportsperson, Partier or Racer.
Okay, great finishers aside, I just want to say that I am absolutely envious of your neutral-air usage in here. Simply beautiful.

Really cool to see the character through your eyes, you make them look so fluid! This was a fun watch! I'm definitely gonna adapt some of this stuff into my own play too.

I love the Blurring Blade clips, I never get to see Swordie players using that special. I get it, both the Shuriken and Gale Strike are super versatile and are great options, but calling out spot dodges and the like with Blurring Blade is just so satisfying.

The SSD goes a set distance, but it helps a lot to combo/string into SSD. In this case, the down angled Chakram already pushed Yoshi halfway between the ledge and the blast zone. I couldn’t get a horizontal angle which kills the earliest, but it helped that my UpB angled low at ~15 degrees above the horizontal. Practice those angles and offstage confirms and you’ll be set hype early kills offstage!

You make mii sword fighter look easy to use but how do you the back air when facing foward?, it looks like your not even turning
@cartib6677 Жыл бұрын
For short hops, I sometimes do an attack cancel bair to save turnaround animation frames. But in general, I turnaround the character and then bair but very fast since I buffer the turnaround. I use GameCube controller which helps a lot since I can focus on the slight turnaround with control stick and bair with cstick. Hope this helps and good luck!

Dude this is insane!!! I've literally never seen anyone make mii swordfighter this hype. I've been playing swordfighter for a while but I have no idea how you do those fast chakrams while moving forward. Everytime I hold forward on the stick and input Chakram it always comes out as slow. Usually this is good because it makes slow Chakram easier to do but when you're chasing down people offstage with the blade flurry up B, I only get the slow variant and it sucks
@cartib6677 Жыл бұрын
So the main thing is practice, but here’s the trick for instant jumping angled fast Chaks. You to click jump and then click special with your direction of choice in very quick succession. I use GC controller, so I flick my thumb right from x to b. Hope this helps and good luck, it’s a ton of fun when you get the hang of it!

Miis can be good but this is staged nonsense. Everyone DIs into your moves.
@cartib66775 ай бұрын
@@therockazoid Quite a bold claim. In my entire library, I have never once staged clips nor intentionally sought out bad players. First of all, if my clips were staged then I would post more often and the results would be much crazier sequences that are more statistically unlikely to occur in natural play (i.e. Blade). Second, I have receipts for some of my play sessions. Two of these clips were against a TO in my state’s Discord server and one clip you would consider staged DI in was against the most stylish Ryu player (Deuce) playing Falcon vs me in the Salt is Real Discord. If you used the search function on my most active servers, you’ll discover a litany of messages with me studying the game or grinding in sessions that might have resulted in one clip. Many real players can attest to my skills. Third, I always keep the full replays on my Switch for many months in case a player questions a clip’s legitimacy. Currently I only have the replays for my last four montages in development since there is not enough space to hold any more. For this specific montage, some of the original clips are lost forever as explained in my video description. Finally, realize these montages are glimpses of spectacle among a sea of tedious gameplay. Swordfighter has very few true combos. Due to the character’s frame data and lack of priority, it takes a deep understanding of the opponent’s character and usually involves adaptation over the course of many games with a player to result in the type of clips I have. You do not need to feel bad for not being able to replicate these situations, I play in such a way that is not necessary optimal but focuses on conditioning opponents to choose options which I can punish the most stylishly. Most that are eventually caught staging don’t articulate context to their audience at the risk of being caught since it’s an unnecessary risk to their reputation (i.e. Blade again lol). Hopefully you realize now that not only are my clips real, but I am very passionate about my work since I know the investment it took to create and don’t take claims that invalidate my efforts lightly. But since I know for a fact everything I’ve made is real, I’ll take it as a compliment you are convinced that my clips appear impossible through honest means. Instead of making assumptive defamatory claims and calling supportive commenters bots en masse, consider that these showcases exist to expand the boundaries for how Miis can be perceived and to inspire fellow players to have fun through exploring the innumerable possibilities of these super cool yet underrepresented characters before the potential to even reach my level becomes a lost art forever.
