Would love to know how this compares to other paramotors, e.g. air conception or scout.

You can see that with one bump on the ground and this cage will break, taking the propeller out. This paramotor is very delicate like many others. If you can't stand on the cage or jump up and down on the safety screen then you are wasting your money and risking your health. The FLAT TOP paramotor is the only smart choice for safety and durability. Every other paramotor is not safe and should be avoided. Do your research and you will be convinced.
