I'll consider "#64 inward" an alternate title to this sick track. The idea of the bonus boss for this DLC being Inner Agent *8* makes too much sense, especially considering the entire point of the Spire. 64 being 8x8 (haha numbers), and Inward - obviously being a fight against 8's inner self, but also an *inverse* of the often-used Onward! melody in anything Octarian-related *and* "#47 onward" - after moving on in the end credits...returning and reflecting on Agent 8.

An Inner Agent 8 bossfight would have been so cool… the arena could include the “nuclear warning spikes” from the first trailer, they could switch out palettes and color chips, and change their AI depending on their chips. Maybe Jelletons could also spawn in the arena, which can harm both of you, but you can also both use them to your advantage. It would have been a cool way to incorporate tricolor into a story mode, something that I’m disappointed didn’t actually happen in either.

The boss fight would have the enemy Agent 8 have different gear depending on the phase, representing the influences on Eight's life. Dome phase: Switching between Splatling and octoshot. Subs would be torpedoes and (octo) splatbomb. Inkstorm as a special. (Splatling is Octavio's pallet and the torpedoes are like the hands that you have to deflect in his different boss fights. They together represent the presence of authority in Eight's childhood in the domes. The octoshot and splatbomb represent the standard military training that most octarians receive. Inkstorm represents the information about the surface trickling down, the stories of a great place they'd never thought they'd get to see.) Inkantation phase: Switching between hero roller, hero charger and the Splatoon 1 hero shot. Subs are torpedo an autobombs. Specials are stingray and tenta missiles. (the hero roller, charger and shot represent Callie, Marie and Agent 3, the ones responsible for Eight hearing the Calamari Inkantation. The torpedoes once again represent Octavio's octo bot hands cuz he was present during the fight, but also another thing. The auto bombs, torpedoes, stingray and tenta missiles represent the way the Calamari Inkantation etched it's way into Eight's soul, following wherever they went. Almost unavoidable. It took them 2 years to get to where they fought Agent 3 before falling into the deepsea metro, so during all that time the Calamari Inkantation would be there, pushing it's hope of the surface onto Eight wether they tried to avoid it or not.) Deepsea phase: Switching between Splatbrella, Enperry Dualies, Bamboozler and Splatoon 1 Hero shot. Subs are splashwall and ink mines. Specials are suction bomb launcher, killer wail, and booyah bomb. (Splatbrella, Enperry, Dualies, Bamboozler and Hero shot represent Marina, Pearl, Craig Cuttlefish and Agent 3 respectively. They are the characters that have most impact on Eight's deep sea journey. (I wanted to include iso padre somehow but couldn't come up with much...) The splashwall represents the various obstacles to over come on the test and the inkmines represent the explosions when fail a test, they can be annoying and you have to be careful to avoid them. The specials represent the fight on the Nils statue. The suction bomb launcher is Marinas Hyperbombs, the killer wail is Pearls killer wail and the booyah bomb is the statue charging up to obliterate the world!) New world phase: Quick switching between Splattershot Jr, Luna blaster, octo brush, hero shot Splatoon 2, Hero shot Splatoon 1, splatbrella, enPerry dualies, squiffer, tri slosher, Carbon roller, mini splatling. No subs or specials, the challenge is adjusting to the different ranges and firing modes. (Represents adjusting to the new life on the surface and new relationships. Splattershot Jr represents starting turf war for the first time. Luna blaster, octobrush, and hero shot Splatoon 2 represent meeting Murch, Sheldon and Agent 4 (inspo from palettes). Hero shot Splatoon 1, Enperry Dualies and Splatbrella represent the characters that they did before. The rest of the weapons are just to fill out the roster for the weapon classes present in Splatoon 2 and add to the chaoticness. Tower phase: All main weapons, subs and specials available in side order. Also big bubbler. (This represents the adventure in the memverse. Big bubbler represents smollusk/order, cuz it hides behind a shield for most of it's battle. The rest represents the palettes.) The stage would probably be bigger than Inner Agent 3. Oh, and what would the reward be?? Idk...

They never went through part that makes an octarian blue/green is the part were the space that is left empty of memories is filled with the turquoise goo/data that makes them obey Kamabo Co. But maybe the change to the player Agent 8 to look like a fully sanitized one to represent.... Something? Idk. If you come up with a good character-centric/metaphorical reason let me know.
