You should not compare Legacy airline to Budget carrier... people have their options.. like PAL to Cebu Pacific. Once you purchase a ticket to a non economy airline, everything is included also the food, baggage allowance and the service you paid for. But, if you pay a cheaper price to an economy airline and then you didnt avail food or baggage allowance, dont look for it once on board. You had your options upon booking your trip! My trip to Manila from Honolulu, I usually request the very back seats as usually empty. I can lay down and sleep. Just a bit noisy from engine. My connecting flight to Laoag, flight usually full. Plane, usually delayed. My main issue with PAL, many flights delayed or gate change. Need to do better but hey, prices are competitive. That's why I chose PAL to Singapore from Honolulu and back. Business class was worth it.

I can testify to this. I fly PAL kasi kasya ako sa upuan its not just because I want to be comfortable pero imagine mo naka eroplano ka pa tacloban isang oras tapos ang sakit ng tuhod mo dahil sa masikip na legroom ng CebPac. Pag matangkad ka magtyaga ka talaga e ang tangkad ko is mahaba ang legs ko so I needed an airplane na talagang kaya ang legroom ko. When I arrived sa Tacloban via cebpac halos di ako makatayo isang oras ka ba naman na namulupot sa masikip na upuan e. Nag PAL na ako pabalik ng Manila, and wow.KASYA AKO 😂

I think people who fly Cebu Pac and other low-cost carriers know what they are getting into when they book their flights. More than an insult to the competitors, PAL seems to mock the passengers who chooses the competitor offering lower fares. It's their choice, you cant force people to pay more for things they think they can go without during flights.

I dnt think it works that way in PAL. The price was not affordable and the food was lacking, wait baka tingin nyo di ako pinoy, well I am half pinoy and I have travelled a lot, I just want to give an honest comment on this overhyped video for PAL. Its not the best Airlines, it doesnt do all do the shit that the video showed, the flight attendants are not that friendly, well not if you fly business class. The best affordable airlines for me is Korean Air. The best Airlines that I used overall regardless of the price is Fly Emirates, or Cathay Pacific.

Kung long haul sa Korean air, I used them when I went to New York. The FA's were amazingly friendly and easy on the eyes, and I was very comfortable during the flight. the stop over to South Korea was amazing, the price was good too, cost me 1,100 dollars all in all back and forth, but the decision is yours to make mymidgetbae.

Bought round trip MNL-JFK tickets from EVA Air for 810 USD each. Mas mura than Korean Air pero maganda rin naman. I would have preferred Korean Air because sa Incheon ang layover though pero malaki rin ang 200-300 USD na fare difference.

Red Jet 7059 Ceb Pac is a low cost carrier, though. Can't expect the same service from an LCC and a full service carrier. Hope PAL can further improve and hopefully be at par with neighboring carriers such as TG, SQ, CX.

One thing I dislike is having to pay for the exit row seats just because of my height (197cm) There should be a waiver of fees if your height exceeds 185 cm...Also for the privilege of paying this fee. Last time I flew on Philippine Airlines they put us in the Smoking section in economy of course I was a little kid then since then me and my Family have always Flew on Delta all the way from Baltimore, MD USA since Philippine Airlines does not fly here even though there are plenty of Filipinos in the Baltimore Area. Delta has also gave us great service every time we have flown from Baltimore-Detroit-Narita-Manila always arriving at Terminal 3. When I took Philippine Airlines years ago they lost our luggage Compared to Delta where our Bags follow us all the way to Manila.

Apart from what it seems to be valid points (for some), that's throwing quite a lot of shades onto another low cost carrier. For some people the focus is on saving money, and simply getting from A to B. I feel that PAL should redo this promo and take away the comparison bits, let the viewers themselves do the comparison themselves. They just concentrate on what they are offering, which is enough to make a point.

The last time (I think only time) I flied with PAL to the middle east, at the gate before getting onto the ramp to the plane, the PAL attendants manning the gate were YELLING at each and every OFW, something like 'Sabing ilabas ang passport eh! Nakaharap ba yan? Sa photo page sabi!' They were so mean and rude I couldn't believe my ears. Unfortunately my phone ran out of battery I couldn't record the scene. When it was my turn I lined up on the other attendant but I almost just accosted the woman with the highest voice to say a few words.I still feel bad I didn't. I promised myself to never fly PAL again.
