This is EXACTLY what I have been searching for to imitate the early brown stonefly which comes out here on the US east coast around early February. Much more fun to fish than a midge. This is the best pattern all around which I have seen. Time to give it a shot! Thank you!

Barry this is a pattern I will reproduce for my box as well but it brings to light an ongoing issue. I have cabinets and walls full of materials but no clear raffia! I have black, tan and green but no clear!!!! Hahaha I have to buy more tying stuff!!!!! 🤣😂🤪

Hi Fly Rider, yes many times the last time here in Norway a hatch of willow/ needle flies with Marc Petitjean.
