Great fly choice, Jim. You know this will work. Neither Jack Dennis or Gary LaFontaine never let convention or prettiness stand in the way of fly designs. Last year I tied up some black Gurglers & sliders for after sunset fishing. Now I know what to do with those small pieces of black foam that were left over. :-)

Yeah boy , that was ambitious Jim. Very good looking pattern. I'm going to tie it beat the waters up with here in East Kentucky and West Virginia. very enjoyable watching you the master at work. Thanks a bunch. Almost forgot, He was some heck of an investigator. espectially with the caddis.

Yes Evasote Foam it is what you get from most fly shops. It is better then using the stuff from the craft store. It is thicker and softer.
