Well done! I love how organized you are with you fly boxes. Nice tip about the thread color!

Thank you Cristy! I’ve always liked the thread color trick, luckily we don’t have to worry about that much anymore...😉

Good deal Jonathan, glglad it produced for you. Which DH in Georgia? I spent a good bit of time on the north GA waters a few years back.

They're a very good late spring/summer pattern.

I am also from PA. This is a good pattern for early in the year also. Haven't fished it much in late spring b/c there are just too many good hatches on. But in early to even late April, my son and I do well on this.

Where are you at in PA? This is a great all-around pattern back home.

@@varnersstreamers Sure is! My son is just learning to tie and this was his first fly on his own and he got his first fly rod fish on it. We are in Clinton County. Happened to be on Young Woman's Creek that day. I love fishing Penns, little J, Spring Creek and all the rest. Pine Creek is our stomping grounds.

I've spent a good bit of time on Kettle Creek as a young man. I love that area. I bet that was so exciting seeing your boy catch his first fish on a fly he tied!

@@varnersstreamers It was a damn fine day. He was all smiles. We love us some Kettle Creek as well and in addition to the known water in our area, we spend a lot of time on the small mountain streams for native and wild trout.
