Thanks for your great videos. I'm new at popper tying and pike fishing, so could you tell me what size hook you're using for Pike popper?
@JayMac-kj9kt11 ай бұрын
I keep coming back to this video and the one in which you are fishing with this fly, I`m obsessed with it and have most of the materials for it. It appears to me that the finished fly is around 10 inches long ( I`m from the USA ) is this correct? BTW I love your videos but the two I`ve mentioned are still my favorites!!! Peace and brother love to you and all.

What a blast from the past :) Nice to hear! Yeah 10-12 inches is around the mark :)

Hi there!!! I’ve been watching your KZbin channel for the pas few times (which i find absolutely great) and i wanted to know if you ship materials to Canada? Thank you very much and have yourself a good one!
@NordicAnglers4 жыл бұрын
Hello there. We do ship to Canada :) it takes around a week to ship
@MorrisOutdoors986 жыл бұрын
I've been tying some of your patterns for like here in america, And I am a little skeptical about the hook up ratio with so much material behind the hook. Do you have that issue?
@NordicAnglers6 жыл бұрын
Well when poppin for pike you will get a lot of strikes where the pike misses the target. But i find this pattern to work very very will :)
@jackson99609 жыл бұрын
how do you attach your leader so it doesn't sink the popper but the pike can't break you off?

With what weight rod and line # do you throw this popper and what Hook # also?
@NordicAnglers9 жыл бұрын
I use my sage pike: www.bluedotmediashop.dk/product.asp?product=2698 The hook is this one: www.bluedotmediashop.dk/product.asp?product=1512

+Flytying.eu Do you use a 4 piece rod? How small are the sections? I only have experience using a 2/3 piece. Do you still get a nice action from the sage? In terms of pike fishing is it a light rod? I would like something that will handle Pike but will also be light enough to be a lot of fun and get a good fight out of the fish.
