Great vid! Also Direct Drive means the rotor main shaft is connected to the shaft of the motor (ex: Evo M2 Heli). This heli, FW150 v3 is gear driven. 😁

My V3 did that but it was because it was too hot (35C) and very humid. Also after I hit a pole and crashed it i had to get a new ESC so they sent me the new V4 one which apparently is a lot better.

There's a V4 😮
@ratcat7668Ай бұрын
@@kevindarkstar The ESC not the actual flywing, I replaced the ESC with the lates version. Version V4 but I did notice there is a Flywing fw450L V3 now.

Nope. Just sets up and flies great. Only need to use computer to set special functions. Inverted, etc. optional

@@SkipBuiltRC ok thank u for ur help somebody told me he got one and it went crazy on him and whent outa control and crashed he had to buy new parts and calibrate it

@@kevingoldbey7401 my version 2.5 Had to be calibrated, but we didn't do anything with the V3. Happened to me once when I didn't wait for an extra few seconds after gps went green. Had minimum satellites and lost one while taking off and went crazy. But if you wait for another 10-15seconds after green. It locks in more satellites. Then no worries 😃

This is the problem with the so called rtf helis. No heli is rtf until all pre flight checks are done. Learn completely about RC heli building, setting up, flight checks and ongoing maintenance. These wires would have been picked up straight away by myself when inspecting the heli from new. Assembly helis are much better as it teaches you how they go together, work and problems that could arise. Al that being said these flying machines are good as long as you check them over from nose to tail, including ensuring all screws and fasteners are not loose and have been locktited where necessary. Enjoy.

I totally agree. I checked the heck out of mine. I do so before and after I fly it. My buddy just got that I think. Lesson the hard way sometimes
