Nothing like the solitude of fishing, that's therapeutic in itself!

Those are some absolutely beautiful rainbows. Kind of reminds of the ones I catch in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Most of the rainbows I catch are stockers. It’s a nice reminder to see how colorful the wild ones are. I’m always use to your narration. It’s interesting to see just the video alone.

Your video reminds me of when I go fishing, pretty much no dialogue. The sounds of nature are amplified in the absence words. It was a great video, love the underwater shots, I think I even saw a crawfish?? That being said your poetic commentary will be looked forward to on your next video. :)

Wow, talk about serenity. This is what I like to hear when I'm on the river. Mike, I don't think I've ever seen a videographer do a voiceless video; a very clever idea. And as always, I enjoy seeing you in the Ozarks. Well done and thanks, Steve

Liked that you were back in Missouri! Love when no one is around! I’m headed down to the current river next week - going to fish that stretch where you caught that Big Brown by the boulders below the campgrounds! I’ve caught some nice trout there over the years🎣

Thanks so much for this video. Nice combination of worlds for me. We finished up school in Missouri (Ph.D. wildlifer) and spent many hours fishing those wonderful streams. Then we moved back home to Eastern Oregon. Each year, I get a few trips here catching the wild fish that are the genetic stock for those Missouri trout. These red-band trout were selected because they could withstand some of the warmer water temperatures. As I get older, I'm better at catching bigger fish, but the main thing for me is to get on the wilderness streams where we rarely see anyone else, the scenery is grand, and the fishing usually tops it all off.

Love when adventurers go back to fishing their home waters! Great classic video Mike! I could never create videos like yours! I do like the poetic narrating that you normally have in most of your videos. You have a way of narrating a shot/scene that makes it feel like I’m truly there and helps depict everything going on around you! Please keep the videos coming! Cheers!

You fish so many places different States! Quick question, what's be the best place go hiking few miles to go camping day or two for fly fishing in Colorado. Maybe 5 to 6 miles hike. I'm little bit out of shape, plus my age range past my prime 😮😢.
