Fly By Midnight is an LA based, self-distributed, pop duo consisting of singer-songwriter Justin Bryte and producer/singer-songwriter Slavo. In 2023, the band released their fourth album, “Fictional Illustrations,” which featured popular tracks including, “What If I Wasn’t Done Loving You”, “In The Night'', and “Infinitely Falling”. The album has been streamed over 80M times, has charted internationally, and has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Chill Hits, soda, Daily Lift, Pop Chillout, young & free, Happy Drive, etc., as well as Apple’s Relationship Goals, Freshening Up, and Everyday Hits, amongst others. “Infinitely Falling” was also featured on the trailer for the Netflix’s Original Film, “Love At First Sight ''. With life getting busier (as it sounds like it is for you too!), I haven’t been able to respond in writing to many of your latest songs that I just love - ‘Infinitely Falling’ and ‘Different Lives’ being stand outs! Please know they were dancing in my mind and bouncing off the walls and windows of my car these last couple of months. As for ‘TRY’ - I love that it starts with what sounds like the pick up of a phone call, the initial question of ‘what’s going on in your world tonight?’ essentially left unanswered as the caller starts to fill in the silence with their own thoughts. The second verse has some of my favourite lyrics: ✨What good is breaking down your walls if you sneak out the door ✨Why try to face the music if it doesn't strike a chord ✨I know you wear that armor cause inside there's still a war (This one is amazing and something I’m really feeling right now!) The music video is also incredible - it reminded me of a Wes Anderson film, the costumes, saturated colours, sharp and distinct movements. It really melds with the dynamic nature of the song! 🎥🎬 The production, musicality, lyrics - you guys have smashed it! I’m so excited for everything 2024 is going to bring and I cannot wait to see, learn and hear more of what this next era is for you both. Thank you as always for sharing your talents!
