Those waypoint constraints are correct and there is no problem with VNAV. These waypoints are, for example, 8000+, which means 8000 or above, the plane is managing the descent and is not obliged to pass through the waypoint at 8000, it has to pass above, unless instructed by ATC

It's correct at BASRA, it's +10000 feet and not mandatory 10000 feet, so as long as you're above 10000 feet, your constraint is met.

When creating flight plans through simbrief, how do you get your cargo/payload values? Do you choose a randomized option? Whenever I choose auto passengers and auto payload, I get an odd amount of cargo weight added, which results in some very sketchy rotations on takeoff.

You need to make sure you're using the correct Simbrief profile for your aircraft.

concerning the low speed you had on descent, I'm not an airbus expert but if it works as in a 737 it's because your FMC calculates a descent path which is a vertical profile, not a speed profile, so it will use all the information it has to calculate a descent path with the FMC speed, however it will fluctuate a bit (in a 737 it will mostly stay within 5kts 95% of the time), especially if something is incorrectly input, here it seems that the FMC doesn't know about the headwind, I'll spare the physical explanation but if there is unexpected headwind, it will fly shallower than it should and it results in speed being lower than normal. In a 737 it will only automatically add thrust when it reaches 10kts under FMC speed (or 15kts on some configurations), idk about airbus but you may have to add the thrust manually. It may recalculate with the actual wind if you "recycle" the route, meaning you take the next waypoint on the route, you put it on top again, and execute, which won't change the route but the FMC will recalculate with current met conditions, at least it works on the 737. if the speed goes over the FMC speed (typically with more tailwind than forecasted), the only way to bring it back is speedbrakes (or other energy management tricks, but energy management is something that takes a lot of time to learn and it's normal not to be good at it if you're not an actual pilot) Overal VNAV is something quite complex and I think it works as intended, it just takes a lot of time to learn how it behaves Great video otherwise, thank you another little thing I can mention is that when crossing a runway you don't need to turn the landing lights on, typically you turn it on only when cleared for takeoff, it's useful for other pilots to be aware that it's a good idea not to cross the runway when they see you, but company procedures may differ (or regional procedures, I've never flown in NA)

Decent speed is normal. Next time if you enter the winds for cruise and decent then this will be better. TAS reduces with altitude thats why it fixed

From what I can tell, the improvement in graphics clouds etc is negligibly better (yes, clouds here in your video looked great), but other than animals in my airport, what big benefit is there moving across to 2024? Thr mountains looked practically the same in 2020. What am I missing?

Better ground handling and better flight physics is undoubted. If you want a more realistic sim for a purely physics perspective. Multiple irl airliner pilots have said 2024 is better. Of course if you only really care for visuals, stay with 2020. Though 2020 has far better morning/evening/night lighting. It looks almost the same in day time aside from better blue sky colors.

Just took off from EHAM to LOWI in the Fenix A320 IAE and I had to cancel the flight because the stuttering was insane. Like almost a slideshow. I don't have this issue in any default aircraft in MSFS 2024

Fenix doesn't work for me in FS2024. The EFB is black, all is off and no GPU...

goto start and type fenixsim in the search bar, and run fenixsim A320. For some reason the external program didn't run. Then give it about 30 seconds and it all should come to life.

May not be FS2024 fault. Sometimes also happens with 2020. Try to manually start the Fenix app which has to run in background along with te Sim. Search for it in start menu in windows, type "fenix", you'll see several applications - livery manager - installer - and the fenix app. After starting this you'll see instruments and other stuff literally waking up in the sim.
