my game crashes showing an error when im loading in to the airport when using the a32nx, i did not have the community folder so i created one and it was empty (of course) and it was in the same folder where my official folder was located

Depends where you've installed it.. default path for the windows store version is C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\ Look for something similar where you installed yours

Do you extract the files first? I’ve copied and pasted the folder to my community folder just like you shown in the video, but the liveries are still not appearing in the game? Any ideas?

You can extract it, then open it and copy and paste it into your community folder. Make sure you copy the folder inside the main folder so when you open your community folder and select the livery folder the first sub folder you see is sim objects and .json etc. Hope that helps

It should be community folder->livery name-> sim objects folder etc.. other things to check: Is it a A32nx livery and not a default a320 livery? Make sure the livery is compatible with sim update 5. Are you looking at the liveries section in the aircraft selection menu inside MSFS? Other than that it should be working.

@@RealSimPilot Just found some info. It seems like it’s not just me, In Dev mode, watched bases doesn’t appear in the game anymore so it’s not reading the community folder.

@@RealSimPilot UPDATE: I’ve fixed the problem! MSFS have created a brand new community folder. I’m on Steam and it wasn’t appearing in Dev mode. I had to reinstall the entire game as a clean install. There is a new option under Virtual File System called packages folders (no longer Watched Bases). It will then show you the new path for the community folder. For me it’s : Chris Roskam-App Data-Roaming-MSFS-Packages-Community

Remove it from your community folder and rather download the installer from the flybywire website and install it from there.

I did the exact same and the liveries still don't show up. I extracted the .zip, cut and pasted the folder INSIDE the main folder in Microsoft Flight Simulator/Packages/Community (I bought it on steam). The files inside the folders are the same as yours (a few liveries have "ContentInfo" with just a thumbnail png there). Why is it not working?

If the folder structure is correct, and the livery downloaded is compatible with sim update 5, then it should work. Are you having problems with all your liveries?

You should already have a community folder by default. However this videos is outdated. Download the FlybyWire installer from their website and it will install the aircraft automatically for you.

You direct it to where your community folder is for Microsoft flight simulator. Depends on where you installed your game. It's the same folder you add any of your other add ons

Check the folder structure. Make sure there is only one main folder for the livery. Inside the main folder must be the other folders and files with sim objects etc.. sometimes when you extract the livery the folder is inside another folder. Hope that makes sense
