A good attractor pattern should always have a place in Stillwater fly boxes. Thanks for posting Phil and have a Merry Christmas!

thanks for the pattern Phil... I'll be sure to tie a few for this season. I have heard of it before but never tried it... a fine gentleman in a pontoon boat at Pat Lake made me a believer.

+Dave Ouellette Hi Dave, glad you liked the pattern. Be sure to tie it in a variety of colors and also its foam eyed cousin the Booby. The Booby is also on my You Tube channel as well. Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil... I love your videos! I wondering where can I buy the gel core Fritz here in Alberta? Or where could I order it from?.. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us! :)

+Stryker 2 Hi the best place to get the Gel Core Fritz is online through Canadian Llama. Here is the direct link to their Fritz page, www.canadianllama.com/fritz/fritz-15mm. That's where I get my Fritz. Thanks, Phil

Phil, Headed up to Wasley in a couple of weeks. How does one fish the blob effectively?
@PhilRowleyFlyFishing7 жыл бұрын
Hi, we most often fish Blobs and similar attractor patterns such as Booby's and FAB's using fast sinking lines and a brisk strip retrieve to trigger a strike. You can also add a matching bead head to this fly and suspend a Blob under and indicator. I hope this helps, thanks Phil

Try fishing it under an indicator it's really effective

is this dry flie or wet fly?
@PhilRowleyFlyFishing8 жыл бұрын
Hi, this is a wet fly. It is an attractor that is most often fished on a sinking line at a brisk pace to trigger a reaction from the fish. We fish Booby's the same way. Thanks, Phil
