@@MysticNessly very easy job on any modern controller. Should save you battery life too. I will say Im pretty positive you can shut of rumble permanently in the flydigi app 🤔

No I have a scuf instinct which uses almost identical swappable thumbsticks and tried the same thing. They stick too far up and the base of the stick rubs up on the inside shellx causing the stick to get stuck.

Does it worth this gamepad for 30e i can find it right now on offer? Unfortunately pro version with hall effect sticks costs the double money ..I can find around 65e varder pro 4 which i would prefer in this price range...Does vader 3 sticks get drift? How is compare with a regular Xbox gamepad? Is recognised as Xbox controller on Steam?

Curious if you've had this problem: I've disassembled and reassembled my Vader 3 a couple of times to try out back paddle mods and different thumb stick caps, and at some point I think the main PCB got bent or something. The main impacts are that the USB port is slightly misaligned with the hole at the top of the shell, but the bigger problem is that the dpad feels way too loose or wobbly now. Any tips on where to tighten the PCB more, or anything else you might've experienced to help with this issue?

You need to really make sure your PCB is flat against the shell when reinstalling. You also need to make sure the PCB screws are super tight. I knew my stuff wasn't tight enough when the dpad was loose. There is what I can only assume is an alignment tab near the usb port that is super easily bent. You could check to see if that got caught somewhere.

I bought the Vader 3 pro. I've seen in all of these teardown videos that there's a lot of unwashed flux on the board. Do you think it's worth cleaning?

Many vendors just don't care about cleaning residue on mass production lines or after manual soldering, even on expensive PC motherboards. Kinda bad practice, but shouldn't be a problem.

I have a old stick drifting xbox elite controller, do you think i could use the sticks to replace the plastic sticks on the vader 3?

Negative I've tried that as well. Elite sticks are proprietary due to the adjustable tension.

@@SpartanSam0034 I just sent it as i lost one of the Vader sticks in my room today and cant find it, the series one elite sticks DO actually work but im worried that the extra weight of the metal sticks will wear out the centering spring quicker so have ordered replacement sticks and will replace when i get them, also have a series two with stick drift but didn't open that and try
