Further Nick could have decided to give it to another opponent to draw cards himself. Not sure whether than both goads stay active. 🤔

What happens when Jon Irenicus gets goaded twice? Does it reset the original goad?

@Mynt let's say I goad your creature and then on the next person's turn they also goad that creature then the person before you takes their turn but doesn't goad that creature. The creature has to attack but has can't attack player X and can't attack player Y so it has to attack player Z. Jon's trigger to permanently goad something means it can never attack the person who goaded it whoever owns him post the ability doesn't matter because Jon doesn't regoad the creature every turn. If every player goads a creature then you can free attack though

Most Jon irenicus decks run clone cards for this reason as well.

Living Death exiles all creature cards from all graveyards before causing all creatures to be sacrificed. The creature cards exiled from Max's graveyard should've earned him four extra Syr Konrad triggers. That could've been game-changing, considering Nick was down to 5 life near the end.

I love seeing Jon Irenicus, but I keep clicking these videos anticipating Jon Irenicus shenanigans. The deck is built so much more passively than mine, which is great- but seeing Max keep giving Jon away in your videos hurts my soul D;

Syr Konrad also triggers on creature cards leaving the graveyard, living death exiles the creature cards to be recurred from the grants. So i think he should have done more dmg

That flyer tribal deck was so cool! It's even cooler that it's a budget deck, so you can never count budget decks out. Seeing miirym get shut down was kind of satisfying... I've lost far too many times to terror of the peaks miirym shenanigans. I always enjoy your videos!

Azorius flyers tribal will always be solid imo. Plentry of ' lord' effects in those colours and just decent cards with plenty of control. I got a Derevi precon deck which I upgraded to a flying tribal deck as well, but it never really goes off even though I switched like 35 cards or something. It's a bit of quickly upgraded deck where I have not even touched the mana base from that precon (very bad mana base for your info). Might have to take a look at that soon since I kind of want to start playing that deck again.....

I love budged decks, you can see that money is a big help for CEDH, but for kitchen tables, a good and cheap deck is the way for fun=)

Not a bad game mudds but I have found Miirym is best as clone tribal for the most part. I tried a build similar to dragon tribal and found it just never ran well like that.

I feel like Jon Irenicus' endstep trigger wasn't missed only one time, as its isn't a may abiliy. So i think Nick should have donated all of his flyers one by one to other players, whitch would have put him in a worse spot than he was. Either was, that game was very fun to watch

So Jon Irenicus is worded in a way that you can actually choose not to target anything to donate. His ability reads "At the beginning of your end step, target opponent gains control of up to one target creature you control." The important part is the up to one clause, meaning you can pick zero instead of 1.

The draw triggers forJon's controller and not his owner, Max should not have drawn cards for Irenicus's attacks under Nick's control.
