Hi George, another excellent video. On the upland river I fish, wind is a constant. Short line and keep moving. In such conditions dry fly can be just as demanding as the upstream wet fly. Very cold and wet where I live and a slow start to this season. Keep up the good work. always informative and a good worthwhile watch. tight lines

Thoroughly enjoyed the video, it was very interesting to see the trout take the dry fly even though they weren't rising at that time.! Just shows you how unpredictable the trout can be . Thanks for sharing your experience on the water!

Most rivers are controlled by clubs, access is usually provided for visiting anglers by way of daily or weekly permits, enquire locally.

I do have a go pro type camera which I use in the vids,I understand your point, however you will notice all fish are returned in good order.I take all necessary measures to return them safely.

@@springerspanielful Thanks. Take your point about the Go Pro, having now seen more of your excellent videos. None of us know how the fish fare after release; this is not a criticism, indeed I do the same thing myself. However, I do think though that if the fish were kept in the water or not handled if possible then the chances of survival would be improved. Just my view.

@@karlnoonan5597 I agree Karl and take your point, however there is always some risk to the fish inherent in what we do as anglers. One can only do ones best to mitigate any possible harm given the nature of fishing.

Nice. Not something I'd think of doing. Got a preference on the dry fly type. Is it flashy?
