Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first #TeamSeas Themed Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

The vast majority of ocean pollution is created by countries with no inhibition placed on its production (namely China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines). If you want to save the ocean, eliminate the cause instead of trying to empty it bucket by bucket.

Really enjoyable video and a great initiative! The humour was on point, too :) I'm happy to see a SwSh run from you. However many flaws the games have, I still really love them. Sword was the first Hardcore Nuzlocke I ever beat and I have very fond memories of my run. I want to try experimenting with different types of restrictions for Nuzlockes in the games when I finish playing through the older gens, something like a heavily-limited wild area run (eg one wild area encounter AND/OR 1 TR per badge only) and see how it plays, since my experience suggests that the aspect of the game that most lowers difficulty (aside from Dynamax which is also banned) is easy access to very powerful moves from fairly early on. I'd probably also ban Gyarados, mind... Anyway, great work as always, looking forward to the next video!

The great barrier reef is not dead. It has been left devastated by the mass bleaching events of 2016 and 2017 and has lost over 50% of it's polyp population, but to imply an ecosystem that spans 2300km of coastline is completely and irreversibly destroyed is misleading.

"Dead" means irreversibly, irrevocably destroyed. There is immense potential to reintroduce living polyps to the coral deserts, regardless it does a tremendous disservice to the vibrance and reliance of the existing environment. If the reef is "dead" we have no hope to rectify the wrong, if the reef is "damaged" it can be repaired.
