It was insane how busy it was you managed the workload like a boss, I had to go around and I felt awful checking in again as you managed +100 arrivals into two airports! Thanks for the excellent service! FD2S

It's so crazy to me what goes into flying these airliners. So much complexity. Looking forward to learning it all!

Thank you for sharing the flying of the clock shop old timer. 😁😁 It is a great chance to see those traditional equipments and got to know how they worked in the old day.

@flightdesk2sim - I watched this live in it's full entirety. On top of what would be 3 folks workload you handled ongoing youtube chat as well. I went out the night before at a party and so stopped in and this was better than watching some rubbish on Netflix! It was brilliant! The glide angle to hit the marker was indeed spot on. It then got entertaining with the weird weather and the go-around, then the orbit due to excess speed. But what made it really funny was the attempt to turn off onto taxiway which couldn't accommodate the 747, throttling back up to ~50 knots to expedite the runway, forcing the aircraft behind to do a go-around, and the best was taxiing in with the flaps and ground spoilers still out! LOL - "unprofessional" - sensational entertainment. I've done worse and done that and also shut down the engines, no ground power, no APU, and all the flaps/spoilers still out ! lol I flew repeatedly on the 747-200 of BA back in the 80s. From EGLL to TBPB - it had drop offs at TAPA and TLPL. I have a question to ask which I'd love to be answered. On one flight it seemed fully loaded we departed EGLL and the plane pitched up to rotate, but then it stopped on the main landing gear wheels for ages, it finally lifted up as I saw the threshold/piano keys at the end of the runway! Was that incorrect flap configuration / V speed calculation? I've never witnessed that since and I'd really like to know what that was about - it has bugged me for 35 years or so!

Thanks for the kind words! That first approach was definitely ropey, I think it was a combination of me getting slow, dodgy ASXP weather and slight throttle calibration issue, the thrust was all over the place on the go around! Haha I started braking for the exit and then I just saw painted in huge letter MAX WING SPAN 30 M, I was like well the 737 is just less than 36M so I'm going to knock off some Spaniards hat if I took the exit I braked for, then carnage ensued! Regarding your flight in the 80's it could be anything really. Based on your explanation there could've been an issue with the take off performance calculation if they rotated and it stopped. Probably similar to this? kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ3IaWOBd8Smaas FD2S

4:44:20, I've been following you for long enough to remember all the crashes you've had in your career as an online pilot, captain.... one of the most obvious ones is the stream titled 'X-Plane 11 | LANDING IN A 30KT CROSSWIND!? | Flyjsim 737-200 Flown by Real 737NG Captain'. One of the most enjoyable streams I can remember. I think there've been a few more than that, got to check your playlist. Amazing stream as always!

What a flight, and this is what we want as viewer FD2S challenged by the aircraft and live weather conditions. wonder when the 727 will be available for XP12? it will be interesting after the major update for MSFS what you think of the 747 in that sim.

I didn’t have the time to commit to a 3-4 hour flight, so I opted to fly out of Gibraltar. It was uncontrolled, so got away and into the flood without delay. Now I’m wondering if that was unfair of me to have done.
