My buddies hit a deer last summer taking off from a local grass strip, everyone was fine except for the deer. Ended up a prop strike to the head just got his plane back about two weeks ago from a motor tear down. happened so fast they had just rotated and thought they missed it but felt something hit the main wheel. After turning back and landing the prop strike was obvious on the deer. We did have some awesome chili though. Nothing was wasted lol. Be careful love your guys videos.

I must say that this was a fun video but.. the part that took my breath away, and apparently yours, was landing with deer on the runway. You (Mindy) were so lucky to have another set of eyes with you on this one and that your mind was working quick enough to do a go around feet from touching down. I watched this part a couple times and I was totally impressed. I would fly with you guys anytime.

Okay, Golf courses are cool, my brother is a superintendent so you score points. Flying is cool, I'm a student sport pilot here in NH. So more points, but I also enjoy auto racing. You two appear competitive, maybe the two of you could challenge each other to go-cart racing. Include a flyover of Atlanta Motor Speedway in your clip, if its not to far out of your way. Ha Ha! You put the net in the sea way it when it is wet than take that weight of the net from the fish.and you will get the weight of your fish. I love to fly and go fishing I just got back from another tuna trip to Mexico and we slayed the tuna like I told you guys my house burned down to the ground I lost everything I own so I've been fishing alorlol!!!right before COVID hit I was going to flight training for my sport pilots licenseand it closed he's back open now I'm thinking about going for it again not sure though thers alot going on I love your guys videos seriously very well done just saying hi tell hubby I said hi and you guys fly into San Diego international the bluefin tuna are coming in I think you will love it the average tuna is over159 lbs ttyl!!!!

I’ve read about deer on a runway but never saw one while I’m the pilot. But this video of the deer at midfield was crazy. That was a great aborted landing. Applying full power from the flare and still maintaining centerline. Well done!

Ok so we flew our C172 into Mt Pleasant from GMU and we had the SAME EXPERIENCE. There were deer in the runway in 17 as well!!
