I saw a pilot get out of a jet at KSAT wearing a tank top, old cut off shorts, flip flops, and long long hair in a ponytail looking more like a drug dealer or trucker. He picked up a package, hopped back in and rode off into the sunset.

Love it! Well, that’s one way to avoid metro NYC highway traffic! I remember once taking off from HPN (as a passenger), and in a few seconds we were over the Tappan Zee. That would’ve taken 30 minutes on I287.

I've had times, at peak, when there's 25+ lined up and you're waiting easily 45 minutes or more. JFK can be insane.

People that fly need to understanding really what all it takes and the level of activity occurring at all times for completing just one cycle. I believe they would have a completely deeper understanding and respect for everyone involved to ensure they and many million others depart and arrive daily safely to their destination!!!

Max, I follow you on Instagram and I really enjoy your KZbin show. Being a diabetic I have never been able to vet my pilots liscense. Because of diabetic complications I've lost my left leg. I've been in love with flying since I was a little kid. So watching these videos is the next best thing. The amount of radio calls they make, they get tired after hours of it. Likely to make a mistake at some point due to the number of takeoffs/landings they clear all the time

Interesting that they retract the flaps immediately after take off, with the landing gear. Guessing it's to minimize drag as early as possible. Wonder if all small jets do the same thing.
