The new GTN 750xi has finger placements for turbulence. Ive got about 300 hours of 750 use and the screen is still smudge free. Love it much more than 530. Much faster programming.

You should have manually set the course at each leg, that's why the needle was pointing at 360 at the first leg, that's what the course was set to. It won't set the course for you, the course needs to be set manually as per the GPS unit for each leg.

I've never had an issue with the TDS. Never not had waypoints missing or AP issues. The PMS version is too expensive and not 100% accurate. Maybe research some of the items in the config or something, I have a great experience every time with it.

I think the pms is better for the simulator as it is integrated better.

You have something set incorrectly somewhere. I've never had this issue on any plane. Open the TDS GTN configurator in Windows. Connect to GPS to autopilot should be NAV. Connect GPS to HSI OBS checked on. Connect GPS VOR OBS to VOR 1

I researched the TDS unit, but found that the PMS50 paid version is better due to it having updated navigrapgh data instead as well as the extra features like Simbrief and airways.

I've never had a missing waypoint for planning (using ForeFlight and/or Eurocontrol/FlightAware), and the TDS GTN has airways.

@@Fcreceptor the TDS unit has to run the Garmin Trainer as a background app, the PMS50 does not. The TDS unit runs AIRAC Cycles that are 18-24 months old, the TDS unit gets updated with all your other addons. This may at times cause you to have incorrect / missing waypoints, which in the case of flying VATSIM / PilotEdge can be unacceptable. Both have strong functionality, and even if PMS50 isn't 100% to the real thing, having it free and/or cheaper makes it more practical for simmers. Most of my sim career I used outdated AIRAC cycles, but as soon as I started flying online I encountered too many deviations and had to upgrade.

@@Aleksandar6ix I’m well aware of how both units operate. I’ve been using MSFS since 2002. The first GPS I recall being similar to the TDS was the Reality XP GNS 430/530. The RXP also used the Garmin trainer. I’ve never had performance issues with any trainers in the sim. I get what you’re saying with waypoints possibly missing, even though I’ve never encountered that using real world routes generated by ForeFlight or other sources. It’s all a matter of personal preference imo. Tbh, there are many times Navigraph doesn’t have all the correct data. At one time, flying into KPSP, the RNAV approaches were missing in the PMDG 737. It was that way for a long time. You had to create it in the air.

How does the plane handfly? Does it use the default Microsoft flight model, or does it have its own external one?

For the flare bud. Aim to pitch about +4 degrees nose up and start just as you’d expect to come into ground effect mate. Roughly 20ft

😂🤣😂🤣 @V1-simulations since when did you become a ReAL pilot. @weaponsArtist jump back to the video.. he asks about the flare as lands and some advice. The advice I’ve given is the correct process for the TBM. And it comes down to type ratings. Every aircraft is different and you do realise that many and I mean many line pilots aren’t actually qualified to fly single engine as they don’t renew the qualifications. Ask V1 the last time he flew a single engine Turbo prop
