I work at Nadi Airport and this is truly one of the finest reviews of the LAX - NAN route I’ve seen on KZbin. Every morning around 5am we get to see this flight land on our shores. Video is short, concise and great camerawork. Keep up the good work

Glad I found your video to show me what I’ll be experiencing on July 21 on flt 811, continuing to SYD on flt 911, also an A350. Now I’ll be sure to get in line early to check in. I return to LAX on a Qantas 787-9. It will be interesting to compare as I’ve never flown either. Thanks!

Hi Jaychel! Thanks for this awesome video, very helpful! I’m planning on booking a vacation package to Fiji in May, we’d be flying your exact flight, from LAX to NAN at 11.55pm. Ive been having some issues trying to get in contact with customer service who haven’t replied to my multiple emails for info. I read some bad reviews about the airline and was starting to get worried so I found your video and it helped. I’m still on the fence, and don’t know what to do. In your opinion, is it worth taking the plunge and booking with them?

Hi Cristy! Overall we had a really good experience with Fiji Airways and we really loved Fiji. With the good deals going on right now we would highly recommend taking the trip over there :) It was our favorite tropical vacation we have ever taken. While the actual flight experience was really pleasant, the scheduling and customer service was as you mentioned a little challenging. We were initially supposed to fly out of San Francisco, but that flight got canceled and so we had to re book to LA which involved waiting on hold for quite some time. We weren't really told why it was cancelled, but we suspect it was because there was not enough demand for a Thursday flight out of SFO. In the end everything worked out great though. In my opinion since you are going over the more typical tourist season you shouldn't have any problems. We know quite a few people that have gone with the deals on the Fiji Airways website and have had a great experience :)

Great Video...I am going to Fiji in about 3 days and got some carry on baggage questions. During boarding, did they weigh your back pack? and for economy, is it strictly 1 carry on item? Please let me know. Thank You.

For the flight to Taveuni, they weighed us each with our backpacks on and truly allowed only 1 item! With such a small plane they needed to ensure that the plane’s weight was evenly balanced 😊 They didn’t weigh our carry ons for the large commercial flight from LA to Fiji.

Hi Jenny! They did not weigh our carry on for this International flight, but did when we flew on the smaller planes within Fiji. We also brought a personal item which we put under the seat in front of us! 🙂

Hey Steve!! We were worried about that as well. We didn’t run into any issues with either Fiji flight! They didn’t weigh our carry on and they fit normal sized carry ons in the overhead bins! The smaller propeller plan was a little different though
