Love this garden!!!! I too was a flight attendant for 33yrs and now retired loving working on my japanese stlye garden...want to know which thyme you have planted ....there are so many varieties...i am in zone 8b and have planted the turkish thyme but a very slow grower...thanks.

Super schöner Garten, danke fürs zeigen. Habe selber Bonsai und frage mich welche Funktion die braunen Gittertöpfe in den Schalen haben. Hat jemand eine Erklärung? Beste Grüße, Thomas

The mesh "pots" hold organic fertilizer. They keep it neatly in place and it slowly dissolves out. Each time they are refilled they are placed in different locations.

In den kleinen Körbchen ist Dünger drin. Mit jedem gießen bekommt der Baum so ein wenig Dünger und andererseits wird der Dünger auch nicht weggespült.

@@chriscarol4965 Das habe ich verstanden, danke. Diese Vorgehensweise gefällt mir, habe immer das Problem dass häufig nach einer Düngergabe der Regen es mehr oder weniger auswäscht. Daniel schreibt von "organic fertilizer". Was könnte man da nehmen? Beste Grüße

@@thomassiebenburgen6464 das üblichste ist Biogold. Aber, meiner Meinung und Erfahrung nach kann man nahezu jeden krümeligen Dünger für Grünpflanzen hernehmen.
