Love how you handle your fish, doing the most to keep them healthy on the release, most people don't care about that ❤

Most ppl fish to eat it. Only bored ppl catch and release. I mean that's why most of the leisure fishermen fish becuz they are bored. I never go fishing to go fishing. I always eat my fish I catch.

@4:40 I got surrounded by a pack of Dingo's once while walking with my dog in the NT before sunrise one day, we heard them coming as there was no wind but they were still stealthy all the same. They closed in tight & checked us out with no fear on either of our behalf (Grew up in the NT) We didn't threaten them & they didn't threaten us, & after a few minutes they wandered off back into the pre-dawn darkness & left us alone to walk in the bush. My dog was a 3 year old mix breed including Dingo, lab, Red Healer & others. I called her my Todd River Spaniel. Her name was Ella Bella or E.B for short. I really enjoyed that expierience & will never forget it & I miss my E.B as this was many years ago. Great Video Brooksy to raise that memory for me, Thank you.

Your passion for the sport is such an admirable character to have. Would seriously sell a kidney to cast plugs with such talented anglers. Fish the Eastern Coast of the US where they look at you oddly for releasing legal sized fish. The mentality and mindset towards conservation is pure ignorance and arrogance. Released a 150 kilo Majestic Bluefin just days ago that hammered a 200mm West Coast Gangsta Popper. Your videos are great way for me to escape the daily grind. Unfortunately I only get 125-175 days a year on water. Thanks to all of you. Hold much admiration for you Brooksy and John!!

That is way cool. Next time you try it. When the marlin comes up and hits the bait with his bill, throw the rod in Freespool. Marlin use their bills to kill their food. If the bait does slow down or stop after they hit it 99% of the time they will just move on to another bait. This is why large spot fishing boats use out riggers. When they hit it pulls the line from the clip stopping the bait giving them a chance to eat. Will definitely help your hook up rate.

They sell them all rigged up at all the landings n different sizes too. Most effective is a balloon attached on a kite launched with a rod. Then you can attach your rig to the kite line dangling it behind the boat skipping on top of the water like a flying fish. Good luck 🍀 🎣🎣🎣

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
