What a beautiful video! (although I was hoping for a clip of the sun going below the horizon lol). Watching you "relive" your childhood memories by walking through your grandparent's property reminds me of a place I lived as a child from ages 8 to 14. (which is only about 6 miles from me). We had 10 acres of property with 99% of it wooded. My sister and I (and friends) knew every inch of those woods and we had paths and "roads" and so many secret spots. We built forts and hidden places all over. There were wild blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, grapes. We also had apple and pear trees in the yard (from owner when he lived there). We could play outside all day and never go hungry lol. Sadly the property was sold and broken up into 10 one-acre lots so there's only the little amount of woods with each house. Those were the best years of my life as a child. So I know EXACTLY how you are feeling.

Amy thank you so much for making this video! I'm extremely glad you were able to go home & see your family! You reminiscing about your childhood made me think of the good memories of my childhood! Personally this made me so happy as well because my best memories came from enjoying nature & walking along the path of the woods across our old house in the middle of nowhere (lol literally 25 miles to the first gas station) where it's nothing but peace & calm. I'd take a walk every morning & night by myself & adventure off, exploring the beauty of the outdoors lol. I love your new years resolution & I couldn't agree anymore. Take the reigns, say no & do want you want to do, don't compare yourself to others. I feel like I am talking with the older sister I wish I had ❤ This video made me think with a growth mindset & has me better off on a good path for myself. I really needed this Amy! Definitely been a tough year for a lot of people around the world and you and everyone in your family Ireland & USA seems to be always happy. I fully understand your emotions about being home. Your visit to your grandparents place reminded me so much of times I spent in Limerick at my grandmother’s place. As you showed the footage of your landing in Dublin I was peering at the screen to see if I could spot DunLaoghaire Harbour which is 5 minutes from my home town. I live in California and am longing to get home again. I miss my family.

I really enjoyed this vlog. Ireland and Norway are so much alike on the countryside, and it was so nice of you to take us with you down memory lane. I also think most of us are so happy to be done with 2020 more then any other year ever.
