Hello again Flightsim10HD thank you very much for another extremely kind message. I am pleased you enjoyed my Scottish videos, it's been a while since anyone commented on them, so thank you. It was also interesting to read that you had flown on the 757 too. Thanks again.

@KevishScot Hi Kevin you are the first person to feature in the credits in any of my videos as far as I recall. You beat me to it. Only got back and sorted out yesterday so no time to msg, a huge thanks for the directions, I did get lost but that's because I came from Glasgow and started at a different direction but as u see I did manage to get there, very much thanks to your help and step by step guide. I wouldn't have found it without those. I'm glad you like the video, Maybe another to come.

@ThePixelpoke Thats really kind of you, thanks, I'm happy to see you like my footage in this Scottish Aviation video. I'd like to get out and about a bit more, but funds don't really permit! The BMI at the end is at Glasgow Airport.

@flyzapva Hi there the reg of the Thomas Cook A330 was OY-VKI and it was at Glasgow International. Unsure why it was such as steep takeoff but very impressive, perhaps it was light loaded or went out on a positioning flight. Sorry can't help further. Thanks for watching.

Another stunning video from Edinburgh! I have been on the Astreus 757-200 from Edinburgh-Tenerife and return in October 2011 with Thomson! Lovely sounds on departure it had:) Really great filming thanks:D

@KevishScot Thanks a lot for that, that helps explain the very steep takeoff. I think the pilots had some fun that day!

Hello Flyzapva thanks for sharing your additional information, hopefully pizzaolly1 will find that useful as well. Perhaps this was then on a positioning flight back to MAN, I had seen Thomas Cook Scandinavia aircraft myself at Manchester the same year, but can't recall the reg's off the top of my head. Once again thanks again for your detailed and thoughtful reply. All the best.

@DaddyElephant Thanks for your comment. The Thomas Cook A330 was like a rocket I've never seen an A330 go up as steeply as that before so unsure how loaded it was. Interesting to see he kept the gear lowered despite the high altitude. #aviationvideos #a330

@ledheadpilot27 Hi there thanks a lot. Was very lucky with the weather it was so warm, only thing is some of the footage looks a little harsh I only used 1 neutral density filter and probably should have had 2 but that softens the overall image. The blue 757 G-STRW was operated by Zoom Airlines I think then went to Astreus and currently on lease to Thomson.

Hi Pizzaolly1 it was a steep takeoff alright...I'm not sure how loaded the aircraft was or if it was operating a regular schedule/charter flight so perhaps that could have had a bearing on it. Certainly many of the A330 takeoff's i've witnessed have been a lot less rocket like! thanks for watching.

I flew on it twice round about the time this was filmed but not at the exact time. It flew to Belfast after bringing me back from SFB and often shuttled between GLA and MAN for positioning. It served Cancun, Vancouver, Toronto, Sanford and Las Vegas whilst on its lease so it is very unlikely that it was off to one of those hence the steep climb

@CrazyMelaizi It was really nice to get to a viewing point at #edinburgh well worth it as I was impressed by the views and no need for a ladder! I'm pleased you enjoyed the video and thanks for commenting. #scotland #aviation

@scotplane Hello Scotplane, I filmed at both Edinburgh and Glasgow airport's in this video. The shots at Glasgow are from the Holiday Inn hotel, i.e. high up and looking down on the aircraft. The shots from Edinburgh are from a fairly well known area where people congregate - you have to go throught Kirkliston and head towards the crash gate - my directions are very hazy, search online "edinburgh airport viewing locations" you should find more. Sorry I've only been there once and got lost!

@dskxalive Hi thanks a lot for watching and commenting. Don't compare your work to anyone elses, your work should be unique to you and moreover you will develop your own techniques and styles not only of filming but editing as well. Life would be dull if everyone did the same. I'm happy you like my videos, but they are only one style and one technique, and believe me there are a lot of flaws and things I'm unhappy with. There's no harsher critic than yourself on your own things. I'll drop by..
