You guys are all over the world. In the last episode, I saw you were traveling from DC to Florida, now you are already on another side of the world. Really cool! I'm just heading to DC with Amtrak so I'm right behind, ha-ha :)

Hi Thomas! There's a little movie magic at work here. We spent a few weeks in Florida before we headed out to Nepal. We are currently full time travelers though. Have a great time on the train ride and in DC! Talk to you later.

Imagine the look on your parent’s faces when we read this title and saw that wee plane. Yikes! So relieved we did not know this at the time! The joy you guys exude throughout starting this new adventure is inspirational!

I know! I knew this flight was coming up and in my imagination I imagined it was a cargo plane with an open door and seats that ran along the sides. Luckily it wasn't like that. I knew I couldn't tell you guys. Spoiler alert: we survived the flight twice. love you 😆

wow - I’m finally figuring out that you guys are serious hikers/trekkers! impressive. really glad you got to go back to Nepal. last year really messed up a lot of people’s plans. Im not sure what would freak me out more - the plane or the airport! 😅

Yes over the last year trekking has become a major part of my life (this is Shelley) - it has always been something Mason has been into so it's been cool to get to experience and get better at something he loves - and find my own love for it too. The flight was really spectacular but I think it would have been a different feeling if we had major turbulence or bad weather. It's a cool airport to watch planes go in and out of. From Mason's previous stories I was expecting the typical cargo plane from an adventure movie with the missing door - so I was actually pleasantly surprised when I saw it was a full plane with a door 😂

The pilot on the right was a senior instructor pilot with that airline. The plane he was in command of crashed back in april while going to jomsom killing everyone on board😔
