A general rule is that peregrines generally attack during bright daylight when the sun is high as possible. Goshawks and sparrowhawks attack during the dusk/dawn hours.

Hello Maney lofts, love how you raise your pigeons and becoming a very good flyers. Would you mind giving me some tips for how do I make my pigeons come back home? Like when I let them go and they will go flying soaring at the sky and returning back to their loft, got any tips, I would be very thankful if you give me some! Also very beautiful birds you have.

Playing a loud crow or raven cd on a boom box while your pigeons are out of the loft may help chase hawks and falcons away. Works in the States anyway,

Hi Kurt, at least no damage done today, when they spend a bit more time outside you can maybe start getting them ready for a small fly say couple of miles only. They will start flying together but will come down quick again. As I said they are all back anyway, those reds are promising and we know how the black hen flies so interesting times ahead..

As I said before my friend, rural areas are polluted with hawks and falcons , you will be constantly losing birds , get a gun and do what needs to be done simple as that, The birds won't get up because they know the hawks are waiting , they are not stupid, I know it's not what you want to do with regards to the hawks but it's the only way forward, and your birds are always panting , true sign of stress and anxiety and possibly it's far to hot as well

You Gotta stop being afraid and don’t worry about losing birds because lazy Bird is a useless birds you got to start taking them distance and make them earn their keep they got a find a way back home they can’t find a way back home they’re not a good bird a race pigeons years and years ago back in the state of Ohio in the 70s you got to make your birds be strong and he can’t be strong if they’re not taken out on long flights just friendly advice load them up take them out a good distance the good birds will return the week because we either get lostThat’s how you build strong birds you must fly your birds at least some distance twice a week out of a seven day work week just saying have a good day

Could you try and let them out first thing in the morning at around 7 am or so ,an soon as the sun in rising , get them out before the sun burns to much, heat tolerance is pretty good in pigeons but they prefer the cold air of the morning 🥰
