And you do realise it has been surveyed and concluded this doesn't really affect the species' numbers. People have killed them for sport yes... but mainly it's for their livelihood

Please don’t. Chaotic tourism and erratic random drones are already a real plague for the inhabitants. There are to many photographers that seem to think that the islands are to be used as theyre own personal playground.

trees can be protected while they are saplings, and, a simple plastic and rebar greenhouse is cheap to erect, and you can grow anything inside of that. it just needs the will. and, it would make a good community project. no dosh ? crowd fund, other people do

The volcanic soil in the Faroe Islands does not allow trees to grow there. The only trees they have are in their Botanical Garden. No joke. They really have a botanical garden for trees. :)
