I flew around the entire world in X-plane 10, mostly in light aircraft like the Piper Cherokee. It took over a year of almost daily flying. I'd suggest a faster aircraft for a series. The Grumman Goose is a good one for scenery exploration, as it can land anywhere. The one available on the x-plane.org store has a location save feature, so you can take off from the water where you left off last time, instead of starting from the nearest land-based airport.

@@eagleone5456 I just wanted to fly around the world. When I finished, I went around in the other direction and passed through different countries. My profile has a video I did of the first time.

A small Plane like this would also feel A lot of turbulence. The one I rode in creaked, and bounced around like an old roller-coaster. You also need to factor in cross winds so you do not point you're aircraft at you're destination. Wow that landing seeing the horizon would end in a crash.

Depends on the realism settings of the game. You can fly a Cessna backwards if you crank up the realism settings in both Xplane and FSX

Takeoff was not realistic as you can see the horizon at all times. In A real aircraft you will see only sky when asending.
