Hello Greg et al. I'm a proud Pilot Institute grad (section 107) and the owner of an Avata 2. I purchased a Vifly anti-collision beacon, so I could apply for a waiver to fly over people. The rejection letter: " In particular, your request did not describe your operation and it did not provide an explanation of how the operation would be safely conducted." Do you have any further guidance on the level of detail the FAA will require for this waiver? Thanks. Jeff

Drone pilots operating under Part 107 may fly at night, over people and moving vehicles without a waiver as long as they meet the requirements defined in the rule.
