Nice one. I haven’t been on a 757-300, but I took a United 757-200 on the 8 hour Stuttgart to Newark in 2013, and it had IFE screens. That route is long gone, but it’s the only long haul I’ve taken on a narrow body. The tail was N17128.

Wow! What a flight! Continental Airlines vibes with the seat 18F font there-I guess United didn’t upgrade the interior because that’s the font continental used. I would love to go on the flying pencil, lucky you always goes to Hawaii 😂

Nice video. A question. I don't watch TV in the seats and such a long trip without TV is very boring? I'm going to Honnolulu for 7 days. I don't see a TV in the back of the seats. Can you please confirm that? Thanks.

if varies from plane to plane. Youll get a text from United ahead of your flight and it will say if there are tvs or not

I used to be stationed in Hawaii and would fly to Seattle to see my then girlfriend. Whenever I was flying back it was so depressing because I was leaving her and going back to my normal work life. The planes would be packed with people happy and excited to go to Hawaii and that made it feel even worse. But, we've been married for 25 years so it's all good now.

The DC-8-63/73 is longer than the 753, and single aisle.

The DC8 hovers around 150 feet, while the 757-300 is 179 feet long

I flew on this flight in First Class last summer also on a 757-300, this was one of the worst flights I have ever taken. The 757-300 is a horrible aircraft for this route due to its lack of onboard WiFi or Inflight Entertainment Screens, added to that, the service on my flight was appalling.

I’m sorry to hear that, I had a good experience overall. As I mentioned in the video, United is planning on adding TV’s to all their airplanes soon.
