@@7ZeroProductions That would be awesome! We were actually recently nearby in Port Charlotte / North Port searching for our new home. We currently reside in Southern Maine where winters are brutal.

Are runways 150 feet wide minimum and taxiways 75 feet wide minimum
@7ZeroProductions
@7ZeroProductions 4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no, they can get pretty tiny. The smallest width runway I’ve landed on was 12 feet.... gotta watch for crosswinds!

@@7ZeroProductions in the USA I thought regulation for USA 150 feet wide runway 75 wide taxi way
@7ZeroProductions
@7ZeroProductions 4 жыл бұрын
That may be for a certain class of airport. I’m not sure what those regulations are, I know all the “real” airports I’ve landed at meet those. But, for example, that cedar key airport KCDK in one of my videos is 100 wide and doesn’t even have taxiways

Great video!! What did you use for the baggage compartment for the dogs? It looked like a great way to keep them and not have any "surprises" on the carpet. ;-)

I found a cool collapsing dog crate online! Makes it easy to get into the plane... but, every dog we’ve flown has been so nice we usually just open the crate and let em out. They go directly to Ivette and plop down

Thanks for another great video. On a technical note, what was causing your overheating problem?
@7ZeroProductions
@7ZeroProductions 5 жыл бұрын
The fuel flow system needed to be recalibrated to deliver 28 gallons per hour at max power (the extra fuel is used to cool the engine)... it had overtime drifted down to 26, and that was providing an ideal oxygen to fuel ration for combustion and heat production, but not excess fuel to carry the heat away. So really it was just a recalibration!

@@7ZeroProductions Thanks! Apparently, there is a lot to that stuff. Fuel flows, pressures, and mixture seem to be quite the balancing act. We enjoy your videos. I tried ghost pepper cheese recently because of Mike. That was no joke.

Thanks for posting. Cool flights. Welcome back Mike. The puppers flew great. Having such a laid back crew probably helped. Did you get the crates/ ramp or were they supplied to you? I’ve seen Mutt Muffs when waiting out some weather at Sportys at I74. These two didn’t seem to need them for their ears. Looking forward to your next video. All the best.
