Trev, love the videos. I am looking forward to getting back into the trike world after 20 years away. I have a host of questions about the equipment set up you use. Navigation, radio and so forth. I would love a video where you walk us through all of your equipment and gear you use while flying. Maybe one of these days my wife and I will take Holiday to swing across the pond. Brilliant, thanks Trev for the content. It's really been inspirational and educational for me having taken my first lesson in a flexwing in January 2024 to going solo a couple of weeks ago. Primarily your adventures have helped me decide what route I want to take which is going places, camping out and cooking. My trangia collection has begun however my cooking skill need some work. Here's to 2025 and our own journeys wherever they may be 👍

Good morning Trev, and Merry Christmas, as it is down here in Nz. What a great year it's been, and thanks for taking us along. In a round about way, it is through your channel, and asking a few questions, even though I had a heart event, 10 years ago, I found that there are aircraft types, that I can legally fly, under our Nz CAA rules using the medical for an H.T license. Although I'm 78 and retired, I'm looking at taking lessons in 2025. So thank you. Have a great Christmas and a HNY2025 mate.

Happy Christmas Trev! Great review of your flying year, with interesting reminders of some of your more memorable trips. My own year wasn’t too shabby, with visits to Popham, Northern France 🇫🇷 (complicated by loss of transmit on my radio for the entire return trip back to Scotland - including the Channel crossing) and an extended trip (due to weather complications) to Leicester for the LAA Rally - which unfortunately conflicted with the TFA trip to Carradale Bay😕. I also managed an extra trip south to Fishburn via a transit of Newcastle, then on via a transit of Teesside to Breighton and a timely low pass along the runway at Doncaster (before it’s reportedly proposed re-opening next year) on my way south to Deenethorpe. A couple of nights at Headon (partly to avoid another storm) and a fuel stop at Sherburn saw me safely back home to East Fortune. Flying extremely restricted at the moment as my wife had a full shoulder replacement op at the start of October. It was healing well, then she got a stress fracture caused by the physio, so right arm back in a sling again ‘til the end of January - which means I need to be ‘on hand’ as she needs lots of help with even basic things. Seems to be improving now though, so will hopefully I will be able to get back flying again soon. All the best for 2025 🍻 🥃🥃 🏕️ Peter

Hi Peter. You certainly got around a fair bit in 2024 with some challanging complications and difficult weather related issues. I hope your wife is soon on the mend. We had similar about 4 years ago when my wife broke her femur after being thrown from her horse. They screwed it all back together and then all the screws broke so she then had to have a rod inserted inside the entire right femur. Anyway Looking forward to 2025 and all the flying excitement and different challanges that it will bring. Have a great Christmas and a awsome 2025 😎

Your channel has definitely inspired me to get my license back so I can fly my Quantum again. I haven't flown for 4yrs now, so will be taking a week of instruction in Spain and hopefully pass my GST to revalidate again in April next year. Looking forward to your new videos and the big trip!

Never seen you re trimmer the wing for a slower landing speed, I use to fly a pegasus Q in the 1990's

To be honest I don't trim slower for landing. As you may have noticed I fly in some challanging weather. Slower air speed gives you slower reactions when landing. I generally wait until i'm in ground effect before slowing down. Have a great Christmas👍👍😉
