I fly REX between Sydney and Adelaide as they are best value even though I have Qantas gold and even offer more snacks than Qantas if you ask, also for me they gave a selection when Qantas only has the one option, also checked baggage on base rate. However, when I fly them I tend to get one the the old aircraft that does not have a headrest, but still my favourite Australian airline, and great to see a FF program! Also I flew them once when on crutches and got on first and they attended my needs more than Qantas.

Great video, Jayden! Looks like Rex’s ground service and plane cleaning could use some work. Nice to see the FAs be proactive though. That always makes for a good experience. That wind was pretty wild. I’m sure it really messes things up when MEL is down to 1 runway.

Hey 👋 Jayden I think it's great that Rex have moved into bigger aircraft. I first took them when they had the small regional planes. Was great that the crew jumped into action with the delay. Single runway opps are a pain at busy airports. Superb takeoff and views. So good to hear a male cabin crew announcement 👌 I prefer Rex to Virgin personally 👍 Superb Vlog as always 😍

Been on Rex 737s in Business and Economy and they have a great value product. Sometimes Virgin and Qantas are double or more the price.

Amazing video! I had such a spectacular flight with REX last time and loved the customer service! But personally I think Virgin’s brand and loyalty program trumps flying with REX! Spectacular video as always! 💚

Rex is like the budget airlines in the USA. They don't care for cleanliness, or anything else really. At least in australia the cabin crew are nice and don't scowl at you if you ask a question !!!

REX is one of the airline in my list to fly with, their services looks really good and cabin crew looks nice as well. The major problem indeed is about the priority boarding especially for those who have checked in online and mobility issues which is quite disappointing. It's also a bit sad to see that the plane is falling apart with that broken seat pocket. But apart from that, the fares for REX is simply the best value imo because for $139 you got 23 kg checked bag and refreshment, but as some people who might want to seek for the superiority will pick Qantas for sure. Virgin simply is not so worth it for me because $149 without baggage, but at least for someone like you with the Velocity Gold member you can access the lounge, even if I'm willing to pay $173 with the checked baggage and seat, I think it'd be fine to pay a bit extra for QF, but they rarely have that $185 flight to ADL. Overall, I think REX can compete with these 3 airlines in price especially because this particular route is known for the overpriced fares (especially QF). Rex is not budget. Jetstar vs Bonza: personally Bonza, their seats I find them more comfy. Good legroom too

Certainly a disappointing plane as far as cleanliness is concerned. A good friend works for Rex at Melbourne Airport, so heard the "stories". Looking forward to trying Bonza in January. The inflight service looked good and proactive before take-off.

18:21, Not really. The nicest and clean beach is Patong beach in Phuket, Thailand, Boracay in Philippines, Male, Maldives and Santa Monica, California. Have you been to Patong beach in Phuket? Last July, I stay in the 5 star Indigo hotel for 4 nights and it's worth the room is nice and big and go to the beach.

Australian aviation is a cut throat business and I can't see both Rex and Bonza surviving much longer. The inspection and maintenance of the vital parts of the aircraft had better be much more thorough than that for the passenger cabin. Not good enough Rex.

13:35, Why do you pay the 2nd cheapest option, rather than flying Jetstar? Jetstar is the cheapest option which I flew from Sydney to Melbourne and the flight is good. Rex is nothing special.

Hi housemate! Is this 12 days of vlogmas Jayden? Are we getting daily uploads now? 😂🎄🧑🏾‍🎄 👍🏽 That food on the floor was a rookie error. Biscoff biscuits are the bomb. I love the IKEA chicken meatballs- they’re nice in some pesto, cream, Italian herbs, or with some noodles, sweet chilli, kepap manis, garlic, ginger and a splash of dark soy. I wish Rex decided to fly to the NT so that we don’t keep getting price gouged by Qantas and Virgin paying around $1000 return to fly to the state next door. 🩴 😂 bogans. 🤷🏽‍♀️

haha not 12 days but 8 days, Saturday to Saturday. The IKEA balls are so versatile, with rice, pasta, by itself etc. Love them! Paired with IKEA sparkling pear juice 😍 I always think SA has it bad, but WA and NT have it wayyy worse!
