I understand that a lot of you weren't fond of the idea of 3801 being the antagonist of this movie. That's perfectly fine. However, that does NOT, under ANY circumstances give you the right to repress others who like the idea. There is absolutely no need to get political over a silly fan-made movie about talking trains.

Love the story, everyone who worked on this did a great job and it was a joy to see Gordon and Scott's relationship explored. It's grand to see Australian engines get some love as they so rarely get some. My only issue is with making 3801 the villain as they are very beloved here in Australia. They are the representation of Australian Steam for a lot of people in Australia and to villainise them isn't the best choice and you might get a lot of backlash. It might be considered distespectful. Still keep up the good work, everyone was amazing.

My great granddad worked at clyde engeering and helped construct and build 3801. My grandpa was a volunteer on her and my dad too. I've seen 3801 my self

In the real Aus-steam 88 some of the highlights were; Flying Scotsman double heading with 3801 between Sydney and Brisbane and the Flying Scotsman triple paralleling with Victorian Railways R761 and R707 from Melbourne to Seymour. The Flying Scotsman toured every mainland Australian city except for Darwin.

This is his take on scotsmans tour of Australia where Gordon decides to go to Australia with scotsman as fear he will not get a chance to see him again as like a repeat of his USA tour as scotsman was liquidated from Alan peglar which as a result he is stuck in America, this meant that not only he can't go back to the UK but he can't see his brother Gordon again.

In my universe the 78c 3801 is just called by her number like most Australian locomotives and she a girl and she's nice also she and 3802 3803 3804 and 3805 are the only female c38 locos all the rest 3806 (Bruce) to 3830 are males

Er not to be that guy but upon rewatching this I just realised that Pendennis Castle is in this and not recognised as one of McAlpine's previous engines. Not only that but they were shown off as competitors at the Empire Exhibition to which Pendennis outperformed Scotsman. Scotsman would have definately recognised and known him as they were both owned by McAlpine and worked together before Pendennis was sold to Australia. Kind of a missed oppourtunity here to delve into that. It was a highlight of his tour, two rivals having beef with each other. I really want to like this film but there's so many wasted opportunities and lack of research, not to mention the depiction of 3801 isn't great. You don't get to be Australia's most famous engine by being an asshole. If he acted like that he wouldn't have become even remotely famous in Australia, he'd have been torn to shreds well before Scotsman even arrived.

As an Aussie, I can say that this is the Thomas fan film that possibly generated the most controversy in Australia. On that note, even though I’m not fond of this portrayal of our nation’s most prized steam locomotive, I don’t agree with people who share my views harassing people who think otherwise. This has made me think of an idea for a kind of far fetched video. Due to the popularity of Thomas on TV etc. The Fat Controller agrees for Thomas, Percy and Duck to go on a tour of heritage railways. On their travels they meet lots of the well know engines (Duck is thrilled to visit Didcot of course) and bring lots of crowds. But at every railway there is a incident like a minor derailment or something going wrong on the engine. Sabbotage is suspected, and it looks like it's being done by someone with knowledge of railways. Once before his piston broke, Thomas is certain he heard two people near him talking in Welsh accents. This is confirmed when the culpirts are caught and the turn out to be.... Jones the Steam and Dai Stationmaster. The plan was masterminded by none other than Ivor the Engine (who turns out can talk) to make Thomas and the Sodor engines look bad so Heritage Railways would turn to him and he can get into the limelight.
