Flying the apprentice STOL at a rc airstrip

Great stuff, very nice video and good flying, keep it up. I love this plane, it's an amazing design, very tough as well! So far I've only broken a prop, and I've crashed it a fair bit.

@@Bushflyingrcplanes mode 2 and I fly high rates in as3x, I started off with safe, but I don't like it. I have it set on a toggle switch as a panic if I get into trouble. What about you?

@@jonowillmer nice, I’m flying in mode 1 because I’m a beginner, also with high rates and for aerobatics I’m going in mode 3

@@Bushflyingrcplanes oh sorry I thought you meant what radio mode do I fly. I really only use flight mode 3, I don't like the way it feels in the other flight modes. I do have a switch to enable stabilisation if I need it, but I'm trying to learn to fly with just the gyro running. It is great this plane has all the modes for different pilots, it's a great model. I'm glad you are getting so many good flights with yours.

Good job, I’m 60 and getting ready to buy real flight simulator and buy this plane I have an uncle timber x but I’ve never flown. Appreciate the video

How the hell.... looking like animation... BUT... its not? .... Please confirm that all is real ??? 😵 You used effects to make to look as Real Flight sim with x100 quality? 🤔 I'm 100% noob, no real experience ... In sim I love very Apprentice STOL "beginner Timber" -plane for best that need to get it in real to smash around (to get pro for floater planes specially). EVEN it might be most durable UMX ... I still I do not trust my-self and preparing already to trash first one and need to select next one ...that's most likely still same plane. Within first 10h at sim this "Superb beginner Timber" -its at least my choice as this plane can do still 200-500% more than my capability having blast within good hands (and heared it works fine with 3s as well having 150% power - BUT check out the motor heating!!!) . Honest estimate: - this plane will be the best "timber" I ever need (exept floats missing) - "power wankers/smokers" are nice to learn but => the real-thing: "UMX conscendo" -glider at hills to have it up 1h+ while nice winds pushing around is my real target (if i get pro enough anyways to do that) ...perfect spot 500m from home hagving winds always from west: maps.app.goo.gl/5RPNppLyWJBRbs3o7 ...thats awesome opportunity.
