This aircraft looks interesting. I'm more of a Cessna 170B kind of pilot, but this might be a fun challenge. I have the Hjet for this sort of thing and I do enjoy taking it for a spin once in a while too. You'll never hear complaints from me about the way you do business, I'm just happy you take me along for the ride. Great video!

I've got the TBM 850 steam gauge, TBM 930 with G3000 (default plane) but this turboprop as a customized G1000 so it's unique enough to purchase. I'll get it in the future. To get the banana, use the menu to the left of the map. It's somewhere in there. Great video. Lots of fun to watch.

According to the manual you can deploy the first notch of flaps and extend the gears at 168 KIAS, which ought to help you slow down (as opposed to side slipping) 🙂

I almost bought this, I bought the Honda Jet instead. I’m very happy with the purchase, it’s an amazing plane that’s done very well and everything works. The Piper is my next purchase, very nice plane.

FSR500 1.09 change log: - Added Co-Pilot inside cabin and outside. - Adjusted copilot camera for quick views adjustment now it is inside. - Re-structured the vehicles folders as GroundVehicles. - Removed odd folders from SimObjects we inject. - Removed [EFFECTS] section from Aircraft.cfg. - Implemented a new autopilot parameter to engage the pitch / roll in the current position servo. - Removed EFB Display from external Cameras to boost performance. - Added improvement performance changes to the base package. - Boosted Performance when using external cameras for long periods of time. - Fixed Engine camera bug when user burns the starter / generator. - Fixed Fuel Hose Bug when user cancel the fuel truck during fueling operations. - Fixed Rudder Trim counter Animation. - Fixed parking brake, it will not stop the plane when engaged suddenly on the runway or during taxi. - Removed way-points constraints to avoid VNAV problems as advised by Working title, bugs were reported by customers. - Preparation for Xbox Release.

You've broken the generator. In the tablet you can action repairs :)

Also make sure your condition lever setting allows for full 100% condition mixture. I struggled for 3 hours trying to get it started and then realized the condition lever wasn't getting to 100% and I had to adjust the sensitivities in MSFS menu

Jonathan - you are my go to for all my info and so I bought this based on your first review despite what you were apologizing for. I have got lost in the FP planning entry and in this video you did it so fast I couldn't follow - so I dug out your earlier video of one year ago and noticed that it seems to have changed especially with the entries. any chance you might do a quick video of the latest Garmin in this aircraft.

My thinking too. Whilst this is a good plane, it looks like it chews up FPS. Plus there’s something special about analog gauges methinks

Beautiful airplane, but I find the flight model to be just bad. It’s a twitchy mess, even though it performs correctly to published numbers. I have over 800 hours in single engine airplanes and the FSR500 flight model isn’t how airplanes fly and feel. The TBM850, PC-12 (needs work, but still a great feeling FM) and C414 all fly much better.

Yep - the TBM 850 is very good. The Comanche 250 is very good too. The C172 that comes with the sim is very accurate too, apparently.

Your procedure for pressurization is not correct. The correct procedure is outlined in page 6-13 of the manual: "with the engine running and the main cabin door fully closed and latched, the pilot simply needs to push the bleed air lever to open the supply of conditioned bleed air from the P3 compressor, switch the ECS Cabin Comfort to NORM and make sure the Destination Elevation is set using the TMR/REFS softkey 11 on either of the PFDs. It will also be set automatically if importing a SimBrief flight plan via the EFB (but can be altered any time by using the TMR/REFS softkey). "

@@jonbeckett actually, when I look at it again, the manual is not clear on the part of using the TMR/REFS softkey 11. I was actually not able to set it like this. I does work when importing the OFP from Simbrief.
