Hope you've had a good "winter" here in Iowa, Mehrdad. Looking forward to some more Luscombe videos when your schedule permits.

Thanks for watching. What do you want to see?

Perhaps a video on your ownership experiences, both in general and Luscombe-specific, with recommendations for would-be's. Maybe something on maintenance, as well, such as your annuals and any preventive work you perform yourself. Any "road trips" you may go on (probably too busy working!). A quick thermal imagery tutorial would be interesting; I believe you used a FLIR? Your videos dissecting takeoffs and landings (and nice footage of the eastern Iowa river valleys) are always cool, too. Thanks, Chris

Thanks. I often come back to your videos because of the camera views and quality of what I can see. I'm trying to tame my 8A, and you are helpful.

Since this video is about a year old and now you are probably very proficient with taxiing, you most likely know that when you come into a turn to park or whatever, prior to getting to the turn you add just a touch of power before the turn. See 3:09 where you were almost to a complete stop and then had to add in more power to get turned. My CFI told me to anticipate what you need to do so he said as your coming up to it, increase power by like 100 RPM a couple of seconds before the sharp turn and then reduce. This way you have the momentum to carry you through the turn. That way you are not powering through a sharp turn like you do in a trike. Happy flying and be safe.

I used to fly an old Luscomb in the late '60s.

My dad built this airplane from a pile of parts found in a barn. Very cool.

0:16 Did you actually say " I need 1.2 more hours as a SOLO pilot before I can carry passengers." ??? So confused-

Hey man great videos. I know this may sounds dumb but you may want to make a little disclaimer burb of not being a CFI or the videos are for entertainment purposes and what not.

Why don't you put the front wheels down then drop the back down that's how Grandpa used to do it.

That's called a wheel landing, I do those mostly now a days. Back then I wasn't as comfortable with them. Check out the newest video.
