Really enjoyed your video George. Yes, can confirm that French pilots would say vingt-huit for runway 28. BTW I'm an expat and a PP living in France. Local aerodrome LFLG Grenoble Le Versoud. If you're ever down this way there's great flying around Mt. Blanc or even Alpe d'Huez / Courchevel (no go around procedures here) but you'd need a mountain qualification to land there!! Happy Landings!!

That was a fun watch for me I live in SW France and you flew over our closest small town. Was nice to see the runway from the front window rather than looking out over a Ryanair wing ! Hope you enjoyed the trip

Epic video ! Was wondering if you have an IR(R) or full IR?
@Coepilot6 ай бұрын
Thank you! I have a full IR; although in some of my earlier videos, I only had an IR(R). I found the IR(R) invaluable and it allowed me to complete a CB-IR course saving time and money 🙌

A tip, in French they say runway 28, vingt-huit not deux huit. Or at least that's what I was told and is consistent with my limited experience. If it weren't for Lee shutting at 6pm I'd be going to Paris for a meeting tomorrow, instead I'm on easyJet :( À bientôt et merci pour votre video.

Thank you! Yes, the French pilots were clearly saying 28 as opposed to 2-8 too - I will remember that for next time. Hope you enjoyed your French adventure too?
