We say goodbye to Taiping and hello to Borneo! Our flight was actually leaving from Ipoh so we decided to give you guys the quickest tour of Ipoh ever (really want to go back and actually stay there for a few days during our next Malaysia trip)! Our first stop in Borneo was Kuching so we decided after your suggestions to spend our first day at the Sarawak Cultural Village!

Looks like you're having a great time in Malaysia! I was there a few years ago and absolutely loved it too. We were in Langkawi which I totally recommend if you go back there. Looking forward to seeing more of Borneo in the next vlog!

ipod we found very interesting, we stayed in Big Johns in Concubine lane. It felt very historical. Best food in Malaysia.

Concubine lane, we stayed in a guest house, Big Johns, Great food in Ipoh. We spent four days in Kuching, nice city. We travelled to Batang Ai near the Kalimantan border. Borneo very interesting, good presentation. You don't have a very heavy Australian accent.

Longest layover was from France back to the U.S. we were on our way back from Rome. 4 hours loooong there was a mix up with our flights and we almost boarded the wrong plane! 😅

Starbucks for sure is way to expensive and then, if you take a sip of their coffee, your dollar is even less well spend. I prefer just black coffee, like the Italians do, espresso. With one exception, french press coffee with a touch of cinnamon and a peel of an orange that wells with the coffee.

Worst layover, in Singapore (transit from kl to Melbourne). Although it was only for 5-6hours, but at that time I was 18, alone, and flying internationally for the first time in my life. My battery died, charger was inside my checked in luggage. Had to use the phone at the counter to inform my family. Fun times 😂

My worst layover was 20 hours at LAX. My flight came in late so missed my connecting flight with 2 hours. The next flight with seats avaliable was not until the next night.. I couldn't afford a hotel room at the time so slept at the airport and then spent the day just reading and walking around the airport, time has never moved so slowly 😂

First of all welcome to Borneo Guys, hope you both had a Great time while exploring kuching. I really enjoyed you guys wonderful videos so much! keep it up guys! But there are still many parts of Kuching which you guys have yet explored. Especially the Sarawak local dish called Laksa Sarawak, even Anthony Bourdain came twice for it on his television show. Taste some Sarawak kolo mee too. Come to explore our Fairy cave allocated in Bau several kilometer from Kuching city. Also you should check out our famous Rainforest World music festival which is held on July 13 - July 15 next year. It's a stunning cultural event that you both should not missed.

Oh man, you did really came to Kuching 😂. Anyway, you should try kolok mee, laksa sarawak while you're in kuching. Kolok mee, me personally love Kolok Mee Haji Salleh at Satok, and Laksa Sarawak at mom's laksa. And a visit to bako national park could also be great.

Ok I'm sad, all the vlogs I see bypassed my hometown of Kuala Kangsar. It's the royal town of Perak sitting in between Ipoh and Taiping. A lot of history there if you are interested in that sort of thing and also one of the most beautiful mosque in the country.

Hi Guyss love your vlog so much :) anyway i will recommended you to go to Bangka & Belitung Islands, Lombok Islands, Gili Islands, Komodo Islands, Bali, Pacitan, Malang (the beach part) and Raja Ampat. Those are few of the toppest beach in Indonesia. YOU SHOULD DEFINETLY COME! ESPECIALLY GILI ISLANDS, RAJA AMPAT, PACITAN & LOMBOK.

Dear Kuchingnite, Sorry to disturb. I am Sarawakian who based in Selangor due to family lack of job opportunities in Sarawak. I know you all might not like politics. But, election is coming soon, your children and grandchildren future and the development of Sarawak depends on a good federal government. We need a government that hate Kleptocracy and hate corruption and handle these issues with iron fists like how Singapore does it. Therefore, please vote for non-corrupted and non-kleptocracy government. Your votes will be deciding whether future younger generation Sarawakian have to leave Sarawak for jobs in other jobs. “It sounds nice to work in oversea”, but at the end of the day your children would have to start a new life in new place and go through way more difficulties than them based in their hometown where their parents and relatives could help out. My final advice is VOTE FOR NON-CORRUPTED and NON-KLEPTOCRACY GOV & DEVELOP SARAWAK
