Yes but the main message of the documentary is wrong guys 😅😅. I love Sam's videos, but here I think he should have deepen the topic a bit more. Synthetic fuels won't be a solution for the masses. Too energy and water demanding, very expensive, and on top they are carbon neutral i.e no zero emission. They will be great for GT3 drivers to keep doing they're track races and for vintage cars lovers, but don't expect people around the world with a Fiat Panda running on synthetic fuel. Just to be clear.

It was certain that their absolutely extremist and historically, totally corrupt EV-totalitarianism could not survive many years of bombardment with pure facts. Next up they will for sure also have to allow many biofuels like HVO100 biodiesel, biomethane, probably certain certified bioethanols...they too are far more environmentally friendly than EVs and cost a fraction compared to the _TRILLIONS_ of extra costs EVs cause (EVs would absolutely cripple our economies and make everyone massively poorer).

I was amazed that they are able to produce 130 k litre by only 1 turbine - and this is only the beginning. Depending on the car that is enough for 1.5 - 2 million kilometers. But we need to add no more then 30% in the fuel mix to make it way more cleaner then EV could be... We could have a really bright future but we must act and support the e-Fuels just the way green terrorist fight for the EV scam... and Sam could be the leader. It means myself and people like me can continue to do a few thousand miles a year in our aging toys, a somewhat tatty but much loved 996 C4S in my case while daily duties are done in an EV where infrastructure and personal circumstances allow. We are waiting on delivery of a new Renault Zoe for example. Affordable through a company car salary sacrifice scheme.

So incredible! Its refreshing to see that synthetic & renewable fuels are not just buzz words. I agree with your point on electric cars not being suitable for some people, at some point we also have to understand that manufactoring and mass producing electric vehicles will not be as environmentaly suitable as repairing and reusing existing cars. It's food for thought for the future and hopfully it picks up in other sectors such as air transport, cargo boats and in our homes. Big props to Porsche for spearheading this and hopefully more brands make the investment soon (I imagine its a big one £££), It will take off in a major way if we open our eyes to the fact that PEV does not have to be the end game
