Flying to Mumbai on Malaysia Airlines | Airbus A330-300

A review of my recent flight on Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330-300 from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Mumbai (BOM)
I flew over the Hari Raya long weekend and the flight was packed! Take a look at the onboard product and service on board MH's medium/long haul workhorse - the Airbus A330.

Nice, i am going to Mumbai from KL today 6/5/2024. Any advice regarding when l arrive at BOM especially to take a taxi to the hotel?

When you finish the customs X-ray check and enter the final arrival hall, turn right and you should see counters for Meru/Ola cabs at the end of the hall. You can book a cab there by providing your mobile number and address. The cab details will be sent to you via SMS. You then need to go down one level to the cab parking bays just outside the terminal. Your cab should be already waiting for you there. You need to pay the driver based on the fare that is displayed on their app once you arrive at the hotel.

I have flown with Malaysia quite a few times all I can say is that you get what you pay for in economy I flew from KL to Doha in January with Malaysia And I must say there service and food was better than my flight Doha to Manchester with Qatar I was not impressed at all with Qatar service n food and I though they were better than emirates but nope

Somewhat true although I believe their service is inconsistent depending on the route. On Indian routes, MH have a monopoly as they are the only full service carrier with no competition from Indian carriers. Their main clientele are Indian tourists/travellers so they try to offer Indian cuisine by default and do a poor job at it. Offering an additional Malaysian food option would be a good touch considering it’s their home cuisine. Thai Airways is a classic example of this approach. Have rarely seen poor food offerings on Thai.

​@@VimanPhotography By far, Southeast Asia Airlines such as SIA, MAS and Thai has the best Airlines crew hospitality and also they have the best foods & services.. if you travel with Business Class, actually the food is quite delightful and amazing..
